First off, Lisa and Harry are the most wonderful innkeepers. They are incredibly attentive but never intrusive. They gave us great local knowledge on the best places to dine, snorkel, surf, rent equipment, etc. Their help was invaluable in making our time in Rincon incredibly memorable.
The property itself is gorgeous and the house is literally at the ocean's edge. We stayed in the pool studio which was actually much bigger than we expected. The space felt more like a nicely sized one bedroom apartment. Though we didn't cook very often during our stay, having a full kitchen was great when we felt like making a home-cooked meal. The furnishings were beautiful and clean. The maids were polite and friendly and did a terrific job.
Tres Sirenas is a small inn (10 ppl max?) where you truly feel as though you're at an dear friend's home rather than a visitor in a hotel. Lisa's breakfasts are fantastic! She prepares something different every day...heart-shaped waffles one day, asparagus frittata the next, walnut pancakes another, etc. And she even goes out of her way to accommodate anyone with dietary restrictions.
This was our first time in Rincon and we found Tres Sirenas by chance. From going out to lunch and dinner, we saw many of the other inns and hotels and, without a doubt, if we go back to Rincon, we won't ever stay anywhere else.
A word to surfers: Even though the ocean is just outside of your door, this side of Rincon doesn't get surfable waves. It's perfect for swimming, ok for snorkeling, and great for paddleboarding or kayaking. For waves, you will need to take a short drive (5 minutes) to get to the surf beaches. Additionally, even if you were to stay at one of the places on the side of Rincon with a surf break, you'll still need a car to explore some of the others breaks.

This review is late, but better than never…
The March 2008 issue of Traveler & Leisure magazine features the Tres Sirenas B&B in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The article prompted me to go online and say how great an experience it was to stay there. We went late May 2007. It is oceanfront property with spectacular views from every room. We walked for miles on the beach enjoying the most beautiful sand and sea. The rooms are comfortable and are as lovely as on their website. The place is spotless and the hosts are remarkable. The delicious breakfast was always a great start to the day. Of course, waking up in the morning to the sound of the pounding waves and the view of the ocean was always our favorite. Do we recommend this place? Yes again, and again.

With high expectations based on the reviews here, I can tell you that this place does not disappoint in any way. From our beautiful pool studio room which overlooked the ocean to the wonderful breakfasts that Lisa prepared each morning to the restaurant/activity recommendations from Harry and Lisa, our stay could not have been better. Waking up to the waves crashing on the beach just outside the window was wonderful and anxiously awaiting the surprise that Lisa created each morning was certainly a highlight. We visited many other places while in Rincon and there is no other place I would rather book than Tres Sirenas. Having spent 4 nights there, it was very tough to leave. We are already planning our next trip to Puerto Rico and there is no doubt we'll stay at Tres Sirenas.

Tres Sirenas is definitely one of the best places to stay in Rincon. The rooms are very clean and very nice - the pictures on their website don't lie!
The best part is the location. Tres Sirenas is right on the beach, which lets you witness the amazing sunsets in the evening.
Our breakfasts were always delicious (omelets, fresh fruit, English muffins, orange juice, etc.) and not your typical cheap bagels and stale cereal.
You can walk down along the beach to grab a drink at one of the bars and then return to Tres Sirenas for a quiet and relaxing afternoon.
Harry (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. If we come back to Puerto Rico we won't stay anywhere else.
You won't be disappointed!
