My husband and I took advantage of the Tres Sirenas "fall special" during Rincon's (very very) low season from October 3-10. Due to the deal we received, we didn't get maid service (which didn't bother us) or the famous breakfasts during our stay. The second caviat was a little difficult to take after Lisa treated us to one breakfast when the Inn had other guests (most nights we had the place to ourselves!). They are truly worth getting up for in the morning! As other reviewers have noted, the property is lovely. Fabulous accommodations, beautifully decorated rooms, nice dipping pool and small spa, etc. You literally couldn't get any closer to the ocean (you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks in front of the inn during the night, as the ocean breeze sweeps through the room). Being young, budget travelers, this is easily the nicest place we have stayed, and we wouldn't have been able to afford the Tres Sirenas regualar season rates, so this was a golden opportunity to stay in an establishment that received so much deserved praise. Of course, Harry and Lisa (and their daughter Forrest) are wonderful, warm, kind people who love to share thier knowledge of the island and point travelers in the right direction, and they make the trip even more enjoyable.

Our issues with our trip had absolutely nothing to do with the Tres Sirenas. We were surprised at several things regarding Rincon and Puerto Rico(maybe we were too naive):
1. Puerto Rico is BUSY! I've never been to a more overpopulated island. We flew into San Juan (next time fly to Aguadilla), and the trip to Tres Sirenas took a little over three hours, due to traffic, and we found that getting anywhere took longer than expected. Some "day trips" to other parts of the isalnd were abandoned because they were impossible to do in just a day.
2. Though we frequently travel during the low season (due to travel deals and job commitments), we have never encountered a low season as low as Rincon's. Literally, we had trouble finding restaurants that were open (especially ones recommended), though we did enjoy the Villa Confresi and several other small establishments. We never went hungry, but it was a bit of a battle finding food sometimes. On the flip side, most days we were the only ones on a beach, regardless of where we went, which was wonderful and relaxing. So I guess you can't have one without the other!
3. Though the water was warm, it wasn't the beautiful blue you associate with the Caribbean, nor did the beaches have white sand. The beaches are lovely, but if you're looking for this type of a beach, you will have to travel to a different part of Puerto Rico.

We have just spent 3 nights at on of the best locations we have found yet. Tres Sirenas is all it promised to be – serene environment, attractive accomodations, quiet atmosphere with amazing views of the ocean.

Harry and Lisa directed us to some fabulous restaurants in the
area and were always willing to answer any questions we had
about the area.

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, enjoy the
comforts of your room and the pool/hottub while listening to the
waves washing ashore, a more-than-satisfying breakfast, then
Tres Sirenas is the place to go.

Thanks again. Pat & Suzi

Simply one of the best vacations we have ever had. We could not ask for two more accomodating people than Harry and Lisa. The setting was
spectacular, the weather perfect, and the people of Puerto Rico, wonderful. You could not be any closer to the ocean. We are already planning a trip back to celebrate our one year anniversary and look forward to staying at Tres Sirenas. We couldn't have asked for a more
relaxing stay.

My husband and I traveled to Puerto Rico to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and stayed in three different towns, at three different hotels during our visit. Tres Sirenas was our favorite lodging by far. The setting right on the beach is amazing. We had the downstairs room that overlooks the pool and loved to hear and feel the breeze from the ocean even while in our room with the screen door open. We highly recommend having Lisa arrange a massage for you -- we had them on the second story balcony with the ocean crashing just a few feet away. Harry and Lisa were very hospitable and gave us recommendations on where to eat and what was open, as this was off-season in Rincon. The breakfast Lisa prepared each morning was delicious and varied. The location was great as we could walk down the beach to the restaurant and bar at Villa Confresi if we didn't want to get in the car. (But when you do drive out to dinner, we most highly recommend The Lazy Parrot -- it was our favorite find in the area.) We explored Rincon each day, but the fact that I kept wanting to go back to Tres Sirenas to relax by the pool or on the beach right in front of the property is a testament to its appeal. It was truly a relaxing getaway and we left with no complaints.

“Tres Sirenas - Perfect Get Away”

We wanted a quick, easy get away that was in a safe, clean, quite small upscale residence that was not expensive - we found it all in Tres Sirenas.
I contacted them by phone and made our reservations by looking at the website and speaking with the owners.
We booked the Pool Studio which was PERFECT - super clean, lovely one bedroom with living room and full kitchen and full bath with tub and shower.
Good, big towels, ground coffee and cream in our fridge everyday - lovely homemade breakfast served every morning on our own patio by owner wife Lisa and our umbrella and chairs were set up every morning by owner husband (and native Puerto Rican) Harry.
They were extremely helpful - ready to help with anything - dinner reservations, sight seeing adventures, massage in our room!! etc.
We choose to spend all of our five days and nights relaxing under the palm trees and swimming in the ocean that was steps from our studio. The pool, small, but clean in a great setting withg big towels, was lovely.
We loved Tres Sirenas and will go back and will send friends & family.
It was a perfect get away.
thanks Lisa and Harry for everything!!!
ps - don't forget to stop by Surf's Up Coffee Shop and say hi to Justin! - Great espresso and nice guy - free access to email via his computers and internet
