My husband and I stood at Beside the Pointe Inn and could not have been more pleased with our experience. We were there a total of ten days and by the end of our trip, felt like it was a second home. The owners were extremely warm and kind to us, even inviting us over their house for dinner. The rooms were clean and the maid service was spectacular. The noise was not a problem for us either. After reading about the noise in the prior postings we were full expecting at least one loud night, but even during the late night parties, we slept comfortably. The service staff at The Tamboo Restaurant downstairs were amazing as well. After our first day or two, everyone called us by first name and we shared a lot of good conversation & laughs. The food was out of this world good, we ordered mostly from the daily specials and not once were we disappointed. We absolutely plan on going back in the near future!!! Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms might be small but comfortable and very clean; mini fridge was very welcomed but missed a microwave. TV/Cable and A/C worked excellently. I stayed in the middle of the spring break so crowded nights were expected. DJ Praxis knows how to mix but he only play dance music all night long (house, dubstep, techno) with no chance for other genres and no bar breaks. Food is excellent and beer is always cold, but missed breakfast options. Beach view is one of the best in Rincón; difficult to beat this. Parking for guests is limited but available. Bar is great but small, quite difficult to reach during night activities (even with two very friendly bartenders). During the day don't expect other music genre than jamaican reggae in the background sound system. We stayed 4 days and never listened Latin music besides spanish lyrics from Cultura Profetica (Reggae) and Juanes (Soft Rock). Since we were expecting the spring break crowd (we were part of it after all!) and some noise late night in our room (ear plugs are provided), it was a pleasant stay.

After reading the reviews, my husband and I were worried about noise levels. However, we didn't hear any noise from the bar in our room (room #3). We didn't need the earplugs supplied by the inn, although it was a nice touch.

The location is incredible, and a great value for being beachfront. Sandy Beach is great for surfing, and there is a terrific outdoor yoga studio (Aloha Yoga) just a five minute walk down the beach.

The deck was fully operational, and a lovely spot to check out the ocean.

Breakfast is not available at their restaurant, but we went right across the street to Rock Bottom, and had delicious veggie omelettes.
