We found Rincon Pottery on Trip Advisor during Hurricane Irene this past August. Miri was a fabulous instructor and great with the kids. She welcomes you into her studio and makes you feel at home. We were all able to create something on the wheel. Miri took pictures of the firing process and emailed them to us back in the states before shipping the finished product. The kids really enjoyed seeing their work go through the whole process. It was an awesome experience for the whole family!

I have visited Miri's studio on past visits to Rincon and was very impressed with her shop and her work. I contacted Miri via email and asked if she could make me a shave mug. With a little information from me she made 2 mugs, one was suppose to be a backup. They turned out so well I could not decide which one to buy so I got them both! This is a must visit location when you visit Roncon.

This is our second trip to Puerto Rico and we wanted to do something different. The pottery class was a first time for both of us. Even though there was some mis-communication on the reservation (my fault), Miri was extremely accommodating. The drive to the location was breath-taking and the directions provided were easy to follow but I would never do that drive at night. The class was very informative and we learned alot. We enjoyed the experience and the updates we were provided on the status of our "works of art" did build up the excitement for the arrival our creations. Which will definitely be used :-). Miri also referred us to an amazing restaurant on the beach. We enjoyed a great meal and a wonderful sunset. If you have an opportunity to see Rincon and do something un-usual, definitely try Rincon Pottery. We signed up for the 2 hour class and enjoyed every minute of it.

My husband and I did a 2.5 hour session with Miri. She was very accomodating and we had a wonderful session in her beautiful studio. We made food bowls for our dogs and we received the finished products in less than 1 month. Along the way Miri kept us posted of the progress via email with pictures. It was fun and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to give pottery a try in a relaxing and beautiful environment!
