“Maybe a tourist trap, but who cares!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013 via mobile

Nice location, amazing sunset and friendly staff. Seems like mostly local tourists come here as opposed to foreign and the vibe is pleasant and the beach gorgeous.

“Decent food, but a bit pricey.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

I liked the food, but I found it a bit pricey. If you are staying at the hotel and don't feel like driving, that might be a good reason to eat their.

“Great food, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

While celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, my wife and I visited the restaurant at Villa Cofresí Hotel in Rincón. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. My wife had plantain-crusted Mahi-Mahi with vegetables and I had lobster-filled mofongo. Both were very good. For those who do not know what mofongo is, it is fried and mashed green plantains. This can be eaten solo, with a clear broth or stuffed with practically anything like chicken, steak, octopus, shrimp, crab meat. Mine was stuffed with lobster meat. It had a savory red sauce. These choices for lunch go very well with ice cold beer.

This restaurant has an air conditioned dining room. Service was excellent and our waitress made us feel at home. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants seafood or the local items.

The name of the restaurant, La Ana de Cofresí, is derived from the pirate ship (La Ana) of the best-known Puertorrican pirate, Roberto Cofresí.

“Good for food and fun (free zumba classes )”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We went there for Coconut drink, and another time lunch with kids. We ended up attending a Zumba class on the balcony. It was amazing work out with a magnificient view. Lunch was very good , great prices and relaxing even with 3 little toddlers running around.

“Good drinks and gorgeous view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

Love this place. When we visit PR, we do not miss Villa Cofresi bar/beach. They have great drinks, try the coco pirata, tropical, refreshing, and strong!!!! You can sit there, watching the sunset and sipping a tropical drink and you will forget about everything!!
