Saturday evening and the place was really humming. Despite this the friendly, prompt and attentive service by Sam was really excellent and helped make the evening.
Starters were Blackstick's souffle and Tempura Sea Bass both well presented and delicious. Mains were braised lamb shoulder and corn fed chicken breast. The lamb was really tender and fell off the bone but the chicken was a little dry and more leg than breast.
Coffee was plentiful, refills at no additional charge; asked for chocolates but none available so Sam served us with some shortbread FOC.
