“Great place if you have an early morning flight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

If you have a very early filght staying here at the airport eases the travel burden. It is a little pricey but the convenience makes the stay here worthwhile. The rooms are quiet for an airport. I will say that food is limited to just the hotel late at night so we usually stop to eat before checking in. In the morning it's a very short walk on the ramp to the terminal.

Great location. Easy access to the airport. I thought it would've been noisy because it's based right on the airport but to my surprise it was actually feasible. My highlight of the hotel was the restaurant. Their salmon was awesome!!! I cleaned the plate! And their lobster/shrimp chowder was to die for. I was super impressed with the service! Room was pretty big, beds comfy but the bottle water was overpriced! 3.50 for a small bottle of water! But other than that I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone. Great surprise for a Pittsburgh hotel.

We booked this out of desperation(close to midnight) through Hotwire because our original hotel was horrible. However, we were so delighted with what we were given. I was worried about being so close to the airport but it was very quite and the children loved watching the plane. It saved our night. Thank you

I have actually stayed here three times but have never been the one flying out. Travelling with my sister and it makes it sooo much easier to us to deal with early flights and more time to spend together. This hotel is very nice and clean. Noise was NOT a problem for me.... yes, you can hear a plane landing/taking off but the sound is not excessive or annoying. I was waited on twice by Randall... he is a very pleasant, professional, young man... always a pleasure to see him. Price can vary greatly. We stayed on a Tuesday night and cost was around $130. We came back the following Sunday and it was $330. Whoa!! Yes, you have to pay to park... but if you are flying out you would pay anyways (you can always use one of the off-site shuttle services for cheaper parking rates). I guess "convenience" is the best word to describe this hotel. I love it and i'm glad i have it as an option.

Though a little pricy at times, no other hotel compares for easy access. Though the hotel overlooks airport parking and the main terminal, I was amazed at how quiet the room was. Quite a bit of light crept in around the door frame, which was annoying, but the room was extremely clean. All of the furniture was modern and clearly new, although some of the hooks in the closet were broken.

Real Starbucks coffee in room is incredible, especially since PIT doesn't have its own Starbucks, CBTL, Caribou, or other major coffeehouse chain.

WiFi is not free, but this is disclosed up front and not a major burden. Bathroom was clean, and the comp. toiletries were nice, and seemed like housekeeping really tried.

Overall, this is a great hotel for what it is, and has become a must for me if im flying out before 10. It's not like some airports where there is a special entrance and private checkpoint, but it is certainly nicer than worrying about the drive and parking the day of.

It's an airport hotel- decent for what it is with the exception that you can't sleep here because it's so loud. I by no means am sensitive to noise and can sleep through quite about anything except for a night here. My neighbor started their shower at about 2:30am and you would have thought there was a plane landing in my room- in fact being near the airport I thought that might actually be happening- but no; just my neighbor showering. Loud doesn't even begin to describe it.
The door let in a fair amount of light from the hall so there was noise coming in from the hall as well.
The decor was fine, the lighting terrible.
If you need to stay here for convenience I'd recommend just crashing at the airport- it has to be quieter.
Seriously, this place is loud.

Room Tip: Good luck.

Good room, great for traveling. Somewhat disappointing water in the room was $3.50 and parking was $13 and shared with the airport. It is connected to the airport, you just have to walk on the air bridge. It was nice to not have to get up even earlier to get a shuttle to the airport. Would stay again for the convenience.
