Very handy for Malpensa Airport. I found a good rate by part paying with BA Avios – otherwise the standard rates were too expensive. Check in was polite, but it took a while to be served. The room was spacious and clean. The lack of free wifi was a definite negative, along with the penny pinching (Darth Vader fridges and EUR 5 charges if you want extra tea bags). The English in a lot of the hotel literature clearly hadn’t been checked by a native English speaker, something I would expect of a hotel charging these sorts of prices. There was no hotel or TV guide in the room. The swimming pool was nice, but again, you had to pay extra to use the sauna (and don’t forget to bring a swimming cap, or else that’ll be another EUR 3).I was offered a wifi/breakfast/lounge access option for EUR 30, which I might have used if I had wanted to stuff myself, but as I arrived late, and left early, didn’t see it’s value.
