I concur with Rob, but would add that anyone with an interest in geology or geography will be horrified at the way this inferior quality concrete dam was stuck in the top of a glacial moraine which allowed the lake to scour beneath it. It is said locally that Henry Joseph Jack, of the management of the hydro-electric company, took the best concrete to build his house at Bryn Maenan up the hill on the opposite side of the valley. As the man is long dead, these things may be said without fear of libel.
To an engineer,****
I was last there several years ago, but it doesn't change.
