“Wonderful place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

We recently had a one night stay at Rainbow's End Resort and it was really wonderful. Chris and Tia were very kind and friendly and spent time talking with us about the resort and the summer activities. I can't wait for the heat of the Phoenix summer to motivate me to head north for the summer. The lake is beautiful, the rooms were just right and the price cannot be beat.

Chris spent some time talking with us in the evening by the firepit, sharing stories of the area. We felt very welcomed.

My kids and I had a great time at Rainbow's End Resort. Even though the weather was cold we still took a boat out and caught some fish. This place definitely puts the "lak" in "lakeside". Wonderful staff, primo location and again right on the water. AND the price was lower than many just basic motels in the area. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

We had a wonderful time at Rainbow's End Resort. The staff really made our visit great. They were very nice and extremely accomodating. Very clean and great view of the lake! We will stay longer next time!

Room Tip: Choose one with a view of the lake!!

Our room was terrific! Our room had a nicer newer interior and was really perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much and expect to come back again. This is our new home away from home in Lakeside when we visit. Thanks Rainbow's End Resort for a great stay!

Waking up to ducks quacking and having serene views at sunset...it is really hard to say what we will miss more. We intended to stay 2 nights and then we both called in sick just to stay another night. Our room was no frills, it had all of the essentials and we both slept like babies. We are coming back as soon as the area gets its first snow.

Room Tip: We had the spruce with a king size bed and a small kitchen.

My wife and kids stayed here over the weekend and had a great time. We originally chose this place because of the lake and it was not on the highway like everything else seems to be. The pricing cannot be beat for what you get. The place seems a bit older, but our room seemed newly renovated. We watched the lake during the and the stars at night right from our porch. I highly recommend this place. The only downside was that the lake seemed a little low. It was still outstanding though and we caught fish!

Room Tip: I'd spend the extra for the rooms with a view.

This is right in the middle of a residential area, however, there is a lake minutes from the rooms if you want to fish or paddleboat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was small but nice and looked to be refurbished...new stove, small fridge, microwave. The room was clean except for the shower (mildew). The bed was comfortable and had new sheets, but the sheets were 90% polyester which didn't make it comfortable to sleep. This is a good place to stay if you're out of the room all day and just need a cheap place to sleep.

Lodge M, Owner at Rainbow Lake Resort, responded to this review, August 22, 2012
First of all, I would like to thank this guest for their review and am glad that overall they had a nice time. While we are in a residential area we are at the end of the road and much of the 1.5 acres that comprise the property borders the lake itself. Outside of being right on the lake we are one of the very few properties that are located away from the highway. As such, our lodging is among the quietest there is. You'll usually just hear wind, rain, or an occasional duck here at Rainbow's End. We continually work at making sure that we maintain the highest quality of cleanliness and comfort. If we did not meet that standard fully this time we our sorry and will use it as motivation to be better going forward. Thank you for reading our response.
