“Mallorca depends on the time of the year”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Since Mallorca is better in low season than high season, I'll rate this hotel according to the two first weeks of June.

Pros:
- Me and my wife made friends with almost every member of the hotel staff. They are all very communicative and told us many things about the hotel, the region, and the island as a whole (some days the barman was at bad mood because some of the hotel guests were trying to cheat him over the All Inclusive bracelet - a guest removed it and gave it to other person and then took it back)
- It has a forest behind the hotel that has public access and enables one to make a good nature walk;
- It has many families and couples which makes the hotel largely more quiet than the ones mainly for young ones;
- The animator is always smiling and cheering people up all day and night;
- The pool has sun from 12 o'clock until almost the end of the day;
- The Internet connection is good at the hall and has good speeds;
- It's very close to Aqualand (anyone can go there by foot)

Cons:
- It isn't close to the beach (and it has a steep street which tires when returning to the hotel);
- The animation itself is almost inexistent; music is always every day, every night (in the animator's day off some singers are invited to perform);
- The All Inclusive regime might not advantageous since there's a good choice of restaurants by the beach (and it avoids thus returning to the hotel); Also in this topic, the All Inclusive only have free access to sauna and jacuzzi from 10am to 12am (exactly the time to go to the beach);
- The picnic (that allows a guest to go to a tour without having to lunch at the hotel) given by the hotel is poor and does not vary;
- At the end of the first week the food it might became somewhat cloying since it doesn't vary much and it's manly fried food (thus not being suitable to infants);

All in all, the pros, in my opinion, suplants the cons. I'd gladly return to the hotel in this time of the year.

I guess I should start by making the remark that we booked this hotel for the price of breakfast. It was absolutly cheap and that is the only reason why I booked it. It is a very big hotel with no personal touch what so ever. Decor of the spacious rooms is old fashioned but clean. Our bathroom had bath tub and bidet. It also has a small flat screen TV but you need to get your remote control for €10 deposit from the reception. Breakfast area is also lacking style. Food was not very tasteful and more of the same. Hotel is situated at the end of the Arenal boulevard, up a hill, and not very far from the local port. It has a bus stop to Palma right in front. Free parking right next to the hotel, (free) wifi in public area only. We stayed on the top floor in a room facing the street and experienced a lot of noise in the night. It is about 10 min drive from the airport. We stayed here for two nights only in May, still too cold to use the pool; they had a small band playing, entertaining mostly ladies while their husbands were wathing a Uk soccor game in the far end of the salon. As we had a prepayed room, check out at 4am was smooth, the congierge however seemed a little grumpy to be woken this time a day...
If your luxury standards and budget are not too high, this might be the perfect hotel for you... If you prefer personal service, a little more luxury or a good breakfast in the morning you might want to look for another hotel.

I stayed here for 4 nights 5 days 2 nd week in May 2013...with my partner and 3 other couples we all range from 22 - 30 years old.
We had a great few days here for the price you cant go wrong,the airport was only 15 mins away and for all 8 of us it cost 45 euros.. it has a lovely pool which at this time of the year is a bit chilly but good to cool down from the sun.. the rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday..
there is a gorgeous restaurant opposite the hotel called Coyote Bar they do the best pizza's around and a nice mix of other dishes like pasta and super NACHOS... my fav!
this hotel is around 25-30 mins to Magaluf as well so if you fancy a mad night out you can.. all in all great little hotel for the money only paid £126.00 per couple for 4 nights 5 days inc breakfast :)

Room Tip: we was in room 312 great room overlooking the sea...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on a last minute deal. Rooms were clean , towels changed daily. Reception very accommodating and helpful. Food was perfectly adequate. All in all very satisfied
Close enough to the beach for walking. Cheap enough in a cab to Palma

We stumbled on this accidentally when the apartment we booked turned out to be a nightmare!! Found this at the last minute for the last 4 days of our holiday and it was lovely.Its on the edge of town so away from all the hustle and bustle plus its only a short walk to the water park. The seafront has lots of nice little bars and restaurants with street entertainers etc. Beach was lovely.

Food was pretty good and there was plenty of choice. We were lucky enough to get a back room which looked over the pine forest with some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The rooms at the front looked out onto the street but like I say it wasn't exactly loud up this end of town so probably wouldn't be too much of an issue unless you like naked sunbathing lol.

Room Tip: Try and get a back room if you want quiet.

Pros:
Quiet area, good size rooms, balcaony and bath; very good housekeeping service: room is cleaned every day, towels and sheets are changed also daily;
Beach is still 10 min away and the hill is not so steep as the people are saying...it is just a normal street.
Cons:
Very poor quality of the food (we had HB included); also, what made eating experience even worse was the very poor presentation of the food; no drinks included so if you wnated a glass of water you had to pay, only in cash, you receive a glass and the n you sit in a line for somebody to pour some water :) craaaaazy!!
We have rented a car through the hotel and theys aid will be available in 45 min; teh guy from the rental company camed to the hotel and pick me up by his car, took me to their office (about 20 min ride!!! to Can Pastilla where I have waited more than 1 hr. Nobody from the fron desk told me that will have to do that (price is comparable with local rental ofices).

Conclusion: you can find a better value for the money! Or at least avoid eating there (however, Arenal does not have a very good choice of restaurants....if you do not drink too many beers before :)).
