“GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY - IF NOTHING ELSE!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2010

Just returned from 1 week break at this hotel, as previous review the weather was dreadful for first couple of days - worse rainfall seen in spain in 76 years!! that aside - we met some lovley people (a small minority would not look out of place on the set of shamless - but you'll get those in any all inclusive hotel no matter how much you pay).
The hotel was very clean, bedrooms spacious - we had a beautiful view looking right out to sea - perfect. Location very nice - very quite there is very little to do in cala st vincent, If football is your thing - head off to The Irish Bar - run by a lovley Irish couple Andy & Elsie very reasonable prices and great hospitality.
Food was adequate - always plenty of choice - could have been hotter I am a fussy eater but always found something - you would not go hungry. All in all we had a welcome break excellent value for what we paid- would I return - no simply because the place was too quite for us, pool far to small for size of hotel, I would however be happy to reccomend.

hotel was clean and well run, entertaiment was average, staff all friendly and were always wiling to help.
Rooms were clean and maid service was good.
Food was quite good and kept hot, warmed plates and plenty of variety. Also had themed nights, carvery, paellas, chinese. A
Good atmosphere.
Small beach next to hotel, and you can swim in the sea - wonderful
Beautiful setting, quiet area, but pleasant and a couple of really good bars and restaurants nearby. Plenty to do - polensa and polensa old town close by - local bus is really good and runs to time.
Day trip to Palma highly recommended and the Cathedral is not to be missed - 4 euros, but I'd have paid double to see inside - breathtaking.

We went 7July for 2 weeks and we did see some of the problem guest but steered well clear and had a great time.We have never been all inclusive before so used the previous reviews as a guide and were very pleased. The food was varied and plentiful. There were plenty of choices for all tastes as chips and pasta were served with lunch and dinner and bacon and egg at breakfast ,for the more traditional. There was a high proportion of eastern european guests so the food did have that slant. We like to try different foods so we were pleased. The wine was pleasant the beer San Miguel and the view was fantastic from the terrace. This is a quiet location for anybody wanting to unwind but a short bus or taxi ride was into the nightlife. The hotel offers a free mini bus to varies locations booking as soon as you can at peak hol times is advised. We tried the mini bus to porto pollensa which was great the local bus service which was clean ,on time ,reliable and reasonable fare to Palma 5euro each return. We hired a car from the local reputable agency in Cala san vincente as Avis was alot more expensivet.A ford KA for 3 days was 98 euro (approx 120 with avis). The second week it zoomed upto 130 for the start 6wks school hols. The roads are well maintained and well signposted but the west side through the mountains is not for the faint hearted. We loved it and look forward to go back.

The only options above was that we stayed during 2006, it was in fact September 2005. Cala San Vincente & Don Pedro has been one of our best holidays ever over these last few years & we have booked 10 days to go next year during May 2010. I am so glad to see the reviews for this year, glad because I booked for next year during July!! We will go & enjoy ourselves, a note to some people is that it is a 3* only, what do some people expect! It will be nearly 5 years since we've been & I can't wait to go back, I have framed pictures of the views in my Living Room. Hope Trotters Bar is still there for the Football, Pearl, will you be there end of May?

I returned to the Hotel Don Pedro, as I had already stayed there for two weeks, the summer before (2007). Hotel Don Pedro is an excellent, friendly, clean and enjoyable hotel to stay at. The food is always warm, and lovely, with a wide variety depending on what you like to eat. The staff are friendly, and always go out their way to help you. When first walking into the hotel, they are very welcoming and are so polite! The people that visit the Hotel Don Pedro, are so friendly, and you can make friends easily! The entertainment is excellent, and theres always something to do!. As I am 16, I thought it there would be nothing to do, but the entertainment reps encouraged me and the friends I made their to join in. There were excellent excursions to go on, I went to the Pirate Show, which was spectacular! I dont even know how to describe it, it was that good. And the Caves of Drach, ( i wouldnt take anyone under the age of 14, cos theyll just get bored!!). I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as it caters for everyones needs. Please, ignore all the bad comments, as the hotel is nothing like they're are saying. It is an excellent resort, and is amazing. It was excellent, and I hope to return in the future. I made some lovely friends, and the memorys will last forever! Don Pedro Rocks!!!
