so me and 3 other friends stayed here.. when we arrived we had to walk through the bar on the strip full of people to collect our key from behind the bar. we then headed round the back of the hotel to get to our room (this is why youll never want to stay here)..
walking through the unlocked door to where the stairs were there was no light to see up them, holding on to the banister rail whilst walking up the whole rail fell on to us. when finally reached the room the door looked like it had been broken into many of times! IN THE ROOM... the plugs were hanging off the walls, the bath was dirty (would rather not wash for a week than use it, its that bad), the fridge was disgusting with mould inside, there was a hole in the top of the wall and when decided to discover what was living in there we found a old box of kfc full of old food.... the sheets werent clean and neither were the towels.... moving on to the balcony the view was amazing.. NOT!.. it was bins that you heard being stack all through the night. then after leaving the hotel in search for another but did not find anything decided to go back! waking up to ants crawling all over the room and the balcony door being open when slept with it shut, nice and safe doors! after 1 night in the hotel we decided to search again or book a flight home, we went down to give the key back and advised we would pay for the night, the lady on recption then tried to lock us in the hotel and called down about 5-6 men to help her. we then gave her money and ran to look for another hotel and stayed in the androthea... this is like 5* compared to this hotel..

bare in mind i went with thoughts of the worst hotel i could think of and was still shocked by this.
also workers pay 25euros to stay here.

if you want to catch something, this is the place to be.

This is by fair the worst place I have ever stayed in. I dont usual write bad or negative reviews but this time I definitely feel I have to warn fellow travelers never to stay in Simos Magic. I live in Cyprus and travel most weekends to Ayia Napa and neighboring resorts. I dont expect 5 star accommodation, but I expect it at least to be clean, a useable shower and have unbroken beds to sleep on.

My boyfriend booked these apartments and some friends of mine that had previously stayed there before had advised me about how awful the living conditions actually were inside. I decided not to tell my boyfriend this as he had already booked it. But unfortunately Simos magic beat my worst expectations. I now can imagine what it is like to stay in Hell for a night! I am only thankful that I only had to stay here for a few hours, I cant imagine staying there for 1 weeks holiday.

My boyfriend wrote a letter of compliant to Simos Magic and to the Cyprus Tourist Authority, of which we have had no response from either.

Me and three others stayed at Simos Magic apartments 1 on the 2nd of June of which ended up being one night. There are really no words to describe our horrendous experience in booking this so called 'block of apartments'. Firstly arriving at the apartments we were greeted by having to enter a nightclub with our suitcases in order to receive a key, next to enter the block of unsafe apartments we could have been anyone from the streets entering the place! Next to tackle the pitch black stairs and corridor by which the bannister had fallen over on to the stairs and one of the girl had tripped as it wasn't visible. After taking all four of us to lift the bannister we had arrived at the door which had evidently already been broken into!

Findings once inside:
Dirty room
Dirty ancient beds suitable for only persons of 4 stone and no more
Dirty odd looking stains on towels
A creepy looking 'cubby hole' in the ceiling which on investigation contained KFC wrappers!
A balcony with area 50-50cm in which to stand
A toilet that did not flush
Plug sockets hanging from the wall

Having to endure one night at this place meant attending a night club whilst in bed, singing along to all songs and enjoying constant whistle blowing to the beat. Adding insult to injury this is workers accommodation charging 250 euro a month ! and these individuals were shouting and banging on our already broken into door.
Feeling very unsafe and having about 1 hour sleep; 4 concerned girls entered reception in order to raise our concerns, doing this were threatened by a lady on reception who was shouting and stating its 'us English' that do this! Forcefully she tried to lock me and my sister in her reception saying we were rude. Politely we suggested we pay for the one hellish night which we stayed in this place however she was not happy with this and attempted to round up 4 other Cypriot men to threaten us in to pay. Consequently we payed the money to this horrendous place and people threatened and scared what might happen to us.
Please read and take seriously never ever stay here!!!!

So we live in cyprus and decided to go for a night to agia napa, so we needed a place to stay, we managed to book the simos magic apartments 1 on booking.com

So lets start with the positives or positive

Location, right opposite Senior Frogs and just off the main bar strip.

Negatives

Disgusting and dirty.
Beds which should only be used as Medieval torture devices (in fact were probably made back then)
Other beds legs falling off or broken
Shower doors hanging off
Mould in shower
Fridge which works to cool but also acts as a heater for the room
Outside a bucket catching dripping water from the level above
Curtains which if they were anymore transparent couldnt let more sunlight in at 4am
No one available to complain to about anything.

Ive literally seen better dog kennels than this place

The only magic part of Simos Magic Hotel Apartments is how its actually still standing!!!

Avoid Avoid Avoid.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the Cyprus Tourist Organistion to have this place closed down.
