“Loved my holiday break with loved one Ben”

Panas Tourist Village

Please don’t believe all the bad reviews of hotel, I stayed here for 1 week all inclusive with my husband, by the end of the week I did not want to leave.
We first arrived early hours of the morning and were tired; the man we were greeted by on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We were quickly shown to our room with no hassle at all. We were given and told important relevant information we needed to know regarding the hotel and our all inclusive deal.
The pool is amazing, I don’t know how anyone can complain at that it is completely clear water, very clean and fresh, huge pool space for many guests, plenty of sunbeds around the pool area with amazing views - you can sit on your sunbed by the pool and watch the sea on your other side, its beautiful.
The food - as much as people slate this food on all inclusive there is absolutely nothing wrong with it!! There is such a variety of food, plenty of fresh salad and cold pasta's as starters, then different meats and veg as hot meals, fresh fruit and different cakes everyday including ice cream. The only downfall with the food for me on a more personal note was the fact the meat was always on the bone and I can’t eat meat on the bone. There was a couple of times where there was meat available not on the bone though.
The staff - the general restaurant staff weren't unpleasant like others say they were just typical local people, still very helpful when needed anything or asked for assistance. However working to a very high level was the bar man Andrian (pictured), you will have seen comments on this website about him and all the good stuff is true, he really does keep the service going and Panas is very lucky to have him onboard their team. Andrian is very quick thinking and efficient, no matter how busy he is he still finds time to be polite to others and ask about their holiday. Throughout the week I stayed at Panas I can’t remember seeing Andrian do anything but work behind the bar, I never saw him taking breaks, having lunch or sitting down for any reason yet also never complained.
The location of the Panas is also excellent, you are in walking distance to Nissi beach, the Square town centre and many lovely restaurants and shops. Also very close to the Aqua park water park which cost up around 5 Cypriot pound to get to by taxi.
Overall a nice clean place to stay, rooms were very spacious and clean, with fresh towels and sheets being provided every day.

I stayed at panas tourist village with my wife for a week and thought it was very nice, a lot better then the reviews say.
It was very clean and very tidy the studio we stayed in was big. a cleaner came to our room nearly everyday and did a good job.
The pool was large and clean loads of sunbeds and the entertainers were ok aswell.
the all inclusive drinks were good lots of cocktails and nice lagers the bar staff were quick and pleasent to talk to especially Andrian he was a cool gezzer.
The food was good for the start of the week but it seemed to be the same stuff the whole time we were there not the best food but lots of nice restaurants near by.
it was a perfect location near the sea and had its own supermarket which was helpful. On a hole it was a good hotel to stay at and would definitly stay again

I had stayed at the Panas in June 07 for 14 nights with my partner, my dad and my 7 year old daughter. This is rated as a 4* villiage, but personally is more like a 3*, If you suffer from hayfever take your tablets as it is very greenery, also they had a problem with mosquitos on the island so be prepared as we had lots of very nasty bites.
We had stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious, We did have to complain about our maid service on numerous occasions as she only changed our towels and linen about 4 times the whole time we stayed there. The large pool was great and there was plenty of sun loungers, it over looks the sea so the view from the pool was lovely with fab weather at all times. We had stayed on a all inclusive package and for a 4* it was rubbish, there was not enough choice and the food was warm, we also got informed by people who were staying there that there was a kids menu but you have to ask for this as no staff mention this to you. The entertainment in the evening was also aload of rubbish you would have kids disco, bingo then a live show, but they made it up as they went along, staff at the panas were not very friendly or helpful.
Were we stayed was a distance away from the main areas and beaches so it was quite, but took about 30 minutes walk to get to the main parts which does not help if it is hot, you can get a taxi which would cost about £4cyp. Days out: waterworld was excellent, dolphin safari waste of money.
The bars are good but the clubs are not as good as it is made out to be and are really expensive, I am not one to moan but the whole island was expensive and disappointing, and not family orientated.

Went in May half term, just as the season had started. Had a wonderful stay at the Panas, food was ok but we never starved, pool was fantastic and so was the entertainment girls, Zoe and Nancy kept the kids entertained day and night (even though it was for adults), very close to all the pubs and clubs just a short ride away (5mins) and nissi beach was to die for (5mins).

The bar staff was moody but you just have to try and make them work by ordering all the cocktails on the list!!!!! (we are the customer)

Met some great people had a great time, would recommend it as it was clean and tidy and not too busy, air conditioning was good.

My tip is if you pay for kids to be adults make sure you have another room ,the setees were to small for the kids to sleep on as there feet were hanging over the side.

After reading some of the reviews regarding Panas I didnt know what on earth we were letting ourselves in for! However we were very pleasantly suprised and cant understand many of the very negative comments about this place.
The hotel was great, the biggest pool I have ever seen, always plenty of loungers, near the beach, if you want your room cleaned every day just leave the maid picture on your door, the food was great, always plenty of it, god you can eat nearly every hour of the day on the AI if you like, including ice cream for kids (not that we had any kids with us but noticed it with other people) the food was of a very good standard, the restaurant was absolutely immaculate, and each evening/lunch time there was a different meal including a lovely salad bar. I read some comments about the staff being miserable, well the staff must have changed as we found them absolutely lovely and some of them quite funny and my god do they work hard, some of the staff serving at breakfast were still there in the evening, still with a smile on their face, and the bar staff were great and I didnt notice any of the problems where paying customers were served before the AI customers, we were served quickly all the time
The hotel was brilliantly situated, if you want to visit the highlife of aya napa it's about a 15 minute walk or just jump in a taxi, we walked it there and back as our rep assured us that it was safe to do so and even at 3/4/5 in the morning there were loads of people around! We found the entertainment each evening good fun, there was something diff on each evening and even a game of bingo, so even for all the party goers in the hotel everyone drank the AI till midnight then headed up into Aya Napa! Even during the day there was water polo, volley ball, water aerobics, football, pool competitions and darts competitions. I noticed one comment complain that the maids switch off the air con, they dont, when you enter the room you put your key in an electric socket that is what controls the air con so when you leave the room and take the key out the electric goes off including the Air Con (however the fridge stays on) we cant say anything bad about the Panas and can only thank them for giving us a bloody good holiday!!
