Panas Holiday Village

Went in May half term, just as the season had started. Had a wonderful stay at the Panas, food was ok but we never starved, pool was fantastic and so was the entertainment girls, Zoe and Nancy kept the kids entertained day and night (even though it was for adults), very close to all the pubs and clubs just a short ride away (5mins) and nissi beach was to die for (5mins).

The bar staff was moody but you just have to try and make them work by ordering all the cocktails on the list!!!!! (we are the customer)

Met some great people had a great time, would recommend it as it was clean and tidy and not too busy, air conditioning was good.

My tip is if you pay for kids to be adults make sure you have another room ,the setees were to small for the kids to sleep on as there feet were hanging over the side.

After reading some of the reviews regarding Panas I didnt know what on earth we were letting ourselves in for! However we were very pleasantly suprised and cant understand many of the very negative comments about this place.
The hotel was great, the biggest pool I have ever seen, always plenty of loungers, near the beach, if you want your room cleaned every day just leave the maid picture on your door, the food was great, always plenty of it, god you can eat nearly every hour of the day on the AI if you like, including ice cream for kids (not that we had any kids with us but noticed it with other people) the food was of a very good standard, the restaurant was absolutely immaculate, and each evening/lunch time there was a different meal including a lovely salad bar. I read some comments about the staff being miserable, well the staff must have changed as we found them absolutely lovely and some of them quite funny and my god do they work hard, some of the staff serving at breakfast were still there in the evening, still with a smile on their face, and the bar staff were great and I didnt notice any of the problems where paying customers were served before the AI customers, we were served quickly all the time
The hotel was brilliantly situated, if you want to visit the highlife of aya napa it's about a 15 minute walk or just jump in a taxi, we walked it there and back as our rep assured us that it was safe to do so and even at 3/4/5 in the morning there were loads of people around! We found the entertainment each evening good fun, there was something diff on each evening and even a game of bingo, so even for all the party goers in the hotel everyone drank the AI till midnight then headed up into Aya Napa! Even during the day there was water polo, volley ball, water aerobics, football, pool competitions and darts competitions. I noticed one comment complain that the maids switch off the air con, they dont, when you enter the room you put your key in an electric socket that is what controls the air con so when you leave the room and take the key out the electric goes off including the Air Con (however the fridge stays on) we cant say anything bad about the Panas and can only thank them for giving us a bloody good holiday!!

stayed at panas for a two week stay on an all inclusive basis,
what a waste of money the food was practically inedible and after a week of basically starvation we had to start eating at restraunts, the staff were the rudest people i've ever met and extremely unhelpfull!! It states in the brochure that this a 4* hotel and i would say it is barely a 2*! the room was OK but very basic and the maid didnt come everyday and at one point we were infested with ants!! The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the street where it is situated is very badly lit and there are no pavements to walk on! its ok if you want to stay in the resort but if you want to venture out it is a taxi ride to the centre or square and also a taxi ride to nissi beach! i wouldnt recommend anyone stays here if they want to go clubbing because it is just to far from the action! there were 4 of us and we were all bitterly disappointed with what service and food we recieved for the money that we paid and also for wasting two weeks precious holiday time off work to come here!

“enjoyable stay”

Was a bit concerned about going to Panas after reading a couple of bad reviews about the food. However was pleasantly surprised. We found the food to be very good with good selection. The studio was spacious and very comfortable a bit like a Travel lodge with a kitchen and more roomspace. The maid came every day and was very efficient.About the towel change if u are bigger than petite I would suggest you take your own as the ones provided are so small.Entertainment was low key but it was the first week of the season so may well improve. We headed for senior frogs a cy£4 taxi ride away where a great bunch of staff made you feel very wellcome whatever your age, we are in our 50,s.Loved the pool area and even braved the cold water of April.I didnt notice the bar to much as they had my fav tipple scotch whiskey :0) On the whole I recon I got a good AI package deal for £350.

We have been to Cyprus nine times now and this holiday was one of our best having just spent 11 nights at Panas Holiday village, it was a great holiday, we went all inclusive and was not over faced with different choices of food like you normally get when you go all inclusive, food always warm and was always being restocked when getting low. Good time of year to go, always a bed available around the pool and not to noisey.

All staff very friendly and made us very welcome at all times. Apartments where very nice and also very spacious. Will being going back next same time.
