This is hotel was perfect. Don't go expecting luxury because you will be dissapointed. But for 2 stars and the price we paid we were MORE than happy and plan to return. Rooms were very very clean, staff like all the Cypriots were SOOOO friendly. Pool was tiny though, but your in Cyprus go to the beach!! Breakfast was abit mean 2 bits of toast cheese and ham! Only made it once so didn't really matter! The location was perfect right on the strip and the restraunt our room looked into was lovely, castelli?

Loved Cyprus and had a fab holiday and will return to the Cornelia Hotel

The hotel itself was fine and most of the staff were really nice, however the management were the single most unhelpful part of the holiday, apart from paying for air conditioning that didnt work properly and them constantly turning it off as some kind of form of punishment for complaining ,when 3 times all we heard was "they are coming tomorrow" they didnt come within the whole 2 weeks of us staying there by the way. They seemed to have a grudge against us because we went out all night and came back early in the morning meaning the cleaner couldnt get in until the afternoon although most the time she just came in and cleaned around us. The management also told us that several times he was coming into our room when we were asleep to see if we had brought people back with us and if they were staying there......shame really that they were like this as the whole of the rest of ayia napa is so laid back so i definately cannot reccomend this place to anyone and i certainly wont be staying there again. Oh and dont be fooled by the picture of the swimming pool it really is tiny we ended up in the napa plaza swimming pool across the road every day.

Just arrived home after spending a week at the cornelia hotel with a friend. We only booked the holiday 5 days before and only paid £180 for the week each including flights, we were slightly worried as to what the hotel was going to be like, but when we arrived found it very friendly the staff were very helpful. the room was basic but had a tv, balcony, and fridge and air con for an additional fee. the roof top pool was fab and hardly used so took advantage of this as our room was directly opposite it. the square and night life was less than 5 mins to walk to and Limanaki beach 10 mins walk. The hotel also had a bar and restaurant which is open 24/7 so when getting in from partying at 4am we were able to order food and carry on drinking. I would reccommend this hotel to couples and friends wanting accommodation near to the nightlife of ayia napa.

Me and my friend stayed at Cornelia hotel for 9 nights in the end of July. I didnt expect much from 2**, but was surprised by friendly stuff,
good food, decent rooms with balcony, and a buthtub..

Location is great, but just in case you are a party animal and plan to go to bed in the morning :))
Earplugs make it possible to sleep, but not always - there were nights when I couldnt fall asleep till 2 a.m., because our balcony faced the disco just acrossed the road (music was soooo loud!)

Rooftop pool was small but never crowded - we used it couple of times when we were tired after day-trips around the island and didn`t want to walk to the beach

  • Liked — Cheap but good food
  • Disliked — Avoid rooms facing the disco

We stay at the cornelia year after year after year. The staff are very friendly, the food is cheap and very nice... the chocolate milkshakes are a must! The pool is small but it is clean and pleasant and their are plenty of other hotels with bigger pools close by if this is what you are looking for. The square is only a short stumble away. Their are lots of great places to eat with just a few yards of the hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy with plasma tv's on the wall - these only got put in last year. The people their are more than accomodating and I recommend this hotel to anyone/everyone!
