“Simply AMAZING! A paradise in Napa's heart!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2014

We visited So white boutique suites with my husband and the place was gorgeous! It was lovely and quiet with great pools and decor! The whole place was so elegant and romantic! The service was excellent whenever we needed assistance, everyone was very helpful and polite! Our room was always clean and the food was great! Would definitely recommend it wish we get the chance to come again next summer!

Well where to start with this not so white hotel...
I'll start with the good points
* Antonio who basically runs the Nama pool bar, he's fantastic very helpful speaks perfect English and he's the only thing that made the stay at that hotel bearable! Ali, who was a service guy there, was also good.
* front reception team ok but very over worked and not enough staff on to help everyone, there was always long ques so waiting time was more than distressing.
* food at Nama pool bar and Beach club was nice, but again waiting time was painful.
Now to the bad points -
* hotel is not white it's very run down, rusty, mucky, lots of scuff marks.
* not clean what so ever - in the whole the week I was there they didn't clean the pool, jet wash the paths, they were full of leaves and muck, the pool beds were grey not white very mouldy/mucky, rubbish still on the beds from days before.
The bedroom was not clean on arrival splash marks on the mirror bits and hair on the floor and maybe it's me being picky but the bedding just looked like it had been chucked on, in my opinion it would of looked more presentable if they would of tucked it in properly and placed pillows nicely. Just little details you would expect in any hotel!
Also on checking out day we went to reception with our luggage to check out the que was horrendous and after 20 mins I just said to my partner come on Let's put our suitcases back in the room, go for a bite to eat and come back later. When we went to put our stuff in the room the cleaner had been in and cleaned everywhere ready for next guest, she knew we was checking out as she chucked everything out the fridge we left etc. I had a quick look round and the shower head was full of water marks, mirror was filthy and the sheets had stains on, I just thought poor people whoever has to stay in this next!
* THE WORST THING WAS THEY CONNED US!!!! We originally paid for full board but the food in the Blu bar was awful really really bad, and scratty cats were everywhere begging, and flys were all over the bread/fruit/desserts. So we decided to upgrade to all inclusive as we thought it would be more beneficial for drinks and the beach club had good food. 3 nights out of 7 turned out to be not all inclusive even though we had paid for it, the beach club had a few Greek nights and beach party's, we went and was made to paid for our drinks and food as apparently it was a private party, but reception clearly told us all inclusive means all inclusive for all 3 of the restaurants.
They also advertise another 2 restaurants one called the Vanilla bar and a sushi bar called Nazzomi these 2 bars have never been opened according to all the bar staff they laughed every time some asked about it. This to me wouldn't be aloud in in the UK misleading the public like that.
* I must point out that the man that runs the beach club is the most arrogant, rudest person I've ever met he made us feel like we was nothing and couldn't care less if people walked out!
We made friends with most of the guests and everyone complained and had said the same thing, so please if your thinking of booking this I'd strongly advise not to, me and my partner altogether paid £1800 for 7 nights all inclusive this was just for the hotel, complete rip off, and everyone said the same. Not one person that goes to this hotel will return again! It was a bad experience but we didn't let it ruin our holiday thankfully, I'd also point out if you have children or wanting to relax it's defiantly not a place for that loud music played by people staying there until early hours of the morning jumping in the pool drunk etc. it's certainly not a family place, but that didn't bother us as we are a young couple, just an advisory for any family or people that want to relax.
I could keep going on about this place but I think you can get the picture of how bad it is, just check out all the other reviews.

I was reading all these dreadful comments and thought that this is a 5 star hotel, looks nice, the picture shows a very posh setting etc. and that possibly people are overreacting... so i called to book here! I actually called on 11/8/2014 at 12:00 and started talking to the receptionist and then after i finished the receptionist told me "... i only speak English..." !!! I told her that she needs to speak greek (this is the policy for employment in Cyprus) and she said "... no i don't..."! I think she was Russian ... so i have a question... when you go to Russia people speak only English not the local language ??? Then stupidly enough from my side i said " can i speak with the reserv..." and before i even finish my sentence she said "... a reservations, wait"... Xaxaxaxaxaxa no wonder why this hotel is not fully booked in 15/8 ... the busiest time of the year in Cyprus!!!

I decided not to visit the hotel even though the lady in the reservations was speaking Greek and was very very helpful!!!

So white should actually be called so GREY HOTEL.
The Hotel is very run down. Nothing is actually white. Everything is rusty and old.
The Rooms were quite nice as in architecture and layout, quite clean...but nothing special and definitely not worth what they charge - NO VALUE for money whatsoever.
Hotel is highly understaffed especially the pool areas and restaurants. we had to wait minimum 20-25 min to get one drink. Staff at the pool hardly spoke Greek or English, So it was even a mission to order a coffee!!! Pool menu is very limited and on top of it being limited as it is, most items on it are actually unavailable.
The Japanese Restaurant is NOT OPEN! and it is not even set up. so that was VERY DISAPPOINTING as they advertise it on their site....
The food at the Beachclub was VERY AVERAGE and not worth the price...
Room Service was poor
WIFI WAS EXTREMELY POOR and we were loosing the connection constantly.
Air condition was dripping is some areas in our room.

if the hotel wants to be a 5* then hotel needs to be shut renovated and staff needs to be replaced...
overall i was not happy with the service....very disappointing

The positives is that the staff was friendly and polite
The room we stayed in was nice enough, cool furniture, comfortable beds, lovely lighting, lovely bathroom..lovely architecture. we had our own private pool which was nice.
Nice layout and decor... but that is about it

we still had a good time because we tried to remain positive and make the most of out stay But i will never go back there again - Totally not worth it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at So White but felt a bit ripped off.
Good things: Close to a lovely beach which was excellent for children due to the warm sea being shallow enough for children to play in the waves well out into the bay. Great swimming in the sea further out. As expected the beach was fairly crowded but never a problem for us to get loungers and umbrella in the front row. Pool is good size and didn't feel crowded. Useful to have plunge pool next to suite so children could play in it while parents rested.
Staff are friendly, laid-back and try to be helpful although didn't always follow up on what was agreed.
Not up to standard:
Advertised sushi bar not open and I don't think ever has been.
Other restaurants are not as advertised - poolside bar and Italian restaurant are the same thing.
Main restaurant feels more like a factory/hospital canteen than a 5 star hotel restaurant. One day the breakfast coffee was served cold already mixed with milk. Cappuccino at breakfast is extra (and was horrible).
Orange/grapefruit juice at breakfast is not juice but is cordial mixed with water.
Milk at breakfast is UHT only.
Cutlery and plates not matching.
Dinners at hotel restaurant are fairly basic with limited range over the week. It is generally healthy but cheap cuts of meat and fish. Good selection of fresh fruit though.
Around the hotel, some things are a bit run down: mattresses on sun loungers are mould stained, paths are stained and could do with a jet wash, one day no beach towels were available, grating at end suite pool very rusty.
Wifi connection is poor and slow.
The music may be personal preference. There are speakers everywhere putting out constant electronic music. In some places 2 sources of music compete with each other - eg pool music different to Italian restaurant which next to the pool. The restaurant also has constant quite loud music, mostly recorded. On "Cyprus night" the live music was great but some nights there was dreadful sax to karaoke background through dinner.
Large numbers of scrawny cats caught in constant breeding cycle hang around the restaurant outside tables wanting to be fed - much to the pleasure of our children who shared a good proportion of their meals (staff didn't mind).

Room Tip: For privacy and quiet, choose a room away from the pool - otherwise you will have constant electroni...

Got back a few weeks ago and have to say it wasnt too bad a stay. Got an all inclusive package and used it to the max (advisable as food in Cyp is quite expensive in eateries). Staff were polite an extremely helpful(shout out to Ali). Buffet food a bit repeatitive though. The doors could do with 'Do not disturb' signs as staff tend to barge in unannounced in the morning.
The Beach bar is a good place to hang out and the bar staff there are excellent. They even gave the mrs some unsolicited cocktail making lessons.
Overall,a bit overpriced for the facilities there. Advertised as a 5 star but its more 4 star(they dont have a gym). A good place all the same, considering that its quite hard to find a classy hotel in Agia Napa
