“Vias Apartments 6th June-10th June 2012”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

If you are looking for nothing more than a bed in the centre of Napa this is perfect, at close inspection I was surprised at how clean it was despite not having been updated since the early 1970's at a guess. No noise from passers by in the night and a short walk to the "young" nightlife, stunning restaurants, bars and the beach. Myself and my friend went for a friends wedding, and as a base for 4 days it was perfect. It is NOT somewhere for familys or for a long holiday. If I had come with my husband and children I would not of let me children swim in the pool that is certain!!! The facilities are basic and in much need of updating. We booked through teletext which was a huge success and I was very impressed with the transfers to and from the airport. DO NOT believe the pictures, otherwise you will be very dissappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room iwth a balcony overlooking pool or balcony facing towards the beach (you can not see...

This is not a hotel, and even less a 4 star hotel!!! The girl at reception wasn't kind at all, maybe she didn't like november visitors because we don't let her sleep (at 9 pm). We couldn't have breakfast till 9 am, as it was served at a bar nearby, so we got a packed & cold breakfast because we had to leave at 8. Our room (apartment) was for smokers, although I asked for a non-smoking one.
Summary: summer apartments for young people

Room Tip: Ask for non-smoker rooms (if they have)

On arrival we went to reception and spoke to the most rude and ignorant receptionist. She said the room was ready but the air conditioning was broken. We asked if we could have another room she laughed and said no. She abruptly told us that our room was on the first floor. We asked if there was a lift again she laughed and said this is an apartment not a hotel who do u think you are.  I said I am aware of when we are staying but is there a lift she laughed and said no. We went to the room passing the pool. The pool area was disgusting with chips lying everywhere and the edge of the pool was covered in mould.  The pool area was full of Iisraeli men and they were sitting at our door when we arrived at our room. We opened the door to the strong smell of urine. The beds were filthy and the small table was covered in graffiti. There was a small kitchen which was disgusting and a rusty fridge which was covered in black mould. Someone had urinated in the wardrobe and the smell was stomach turning. The bathroom was horrific again covered in mould. Nails sticking out of the wall ,the shower curtain was disgusting and the grubby towels smelled damp and dirty. All in all the room was appalling. Outside of the room the people were sitting around were smoking 'bongs" and leaning against the door. I could not have left my belongings in the room as is seemed so unsafe.

We moved hotel the same night I could not have stayed there. It is defiantly not worthy of 3 stars. O would never recommend it. Try the Nestor or the anesis

Group of 4 girls staying for 10 days. So we got there and had to pay a deposit incase we trashed the rooms.. understandable for those that do but you get it back at the end if you've been good!! Obviously you have to pay for extra air con and they keep your passports for the week but if you need it for travellers cheques etc they will give it back.. Hotel was what we needed basic.. able to cook and generally clean. Maid was ok and saw her quite often for the 10 days we were there surprisingly. Pool does turn your swimming costumes green so b careful, not exactly a big pool but what u need for the heat. Strip is really close like 3 min walk and there's a beach nearby like 5 min walk. Every1 pre-drinks which is a gd idea as drinks can be expensive ranging from like 5-7 euro the bars do deals as well like if your in a bigger group the fish bowls or bottle of shots smaller group u just tend to get free shots. We went on the fantasy boat party and it was gd 50 euro was a bit much but it is still worth doing. We didnt make the beach party but while out there every1 was banging on about it so we regreted not going! Nissi beach is not far a cab split between a few of you will be about 2-3 euro each. Loads of publicity about girls being raped so be careful although there seemed no trouble while we were there... and a group of guys complained that money was stolen from their room, again nothing happened to us although we did get a safety deposit box. Worth the money for piece of mind. We also had a power cut while we were there and had not hot water for 1 night... every1 sowered in the pool shower.. was a funny experience but no harm done! Everyone had a dip in the pool on the way home... but you have to mak sure the grumpy man is not on reception that night, most of the time he wasn't thogh and the other guy ended up talking to alot of people around the pool about 4 in the morning.
Would reccommend it and would go back if we were to go napa again.... napa is really fun so enjoy!!!

We arrived late at night and were asked to give our passports which were kept in a safe for the week. They were given back on the day of checkout. The next morning we were each asked to give a 50 euro deposit for any damages. After the cleaner confirmed there were no damages on our checkout, we were each given the money back.

The hotel was about a 3 minute walk to the Square and was a perfect location for us. No taxis are needed as restaurants/bars/clubs are more or less on the doorstep. Nissi Beach is about a 30 minute walk which is definitely worth it, however many people just got a taxi which is about 8-10 euros.

Our apartment was clean, roach free, but the rooms only get cleaned once every 3 days, although bed sheets aren't changed- only the beds get made. The hotel was mainly full of young guests like us and so was ideal. You can arrive back to the apartment at any time and there's always a member of staff at the desk ready to give back your room key. The friendliest of staff was Costas.. a lovely man.

The pool was small and not the cleanest. Sunloungers were available at the hotel, but there are also nearby beaches (about a 5 minute walk) with sunloungers etc.

We would go back as the hotel was cheap and worth it.. if we were to go to Ayia Napa next year, we'd definitely stay back at the Vias.

stayed at vias mid june 2011..there was 3 of us girls on a weeks holiday..so was a little bit wary about vias and how close it was to everything as i stayed at pambos last year and was 30 seconds away from the strip..we was pleasantly surprised with how close it was..3-4 mins tops to the start..10 mins from the beach and the bus stop to nissi beach is opposite the fountains 1-2 mins away...the staff at vias are lovely..really friendly especially the night receptionist man..was so cute bless him..was disapointed that the pool is only open from 9-7 so no morning dips coming back from a night out which sucked but just went pambos magic instead..also the pool is small but sooo nice when you want a cool off from sunbathing and who wants to swim laps on hols?..apartments are clean..and got everything you need..also if your on the ground floor opposite the melon field you get a massive balcony which was amazing..wasnt very busy and had a few families which also suprised us cus we thought it was more for young people but they didnt bother us and we didnt bother them so was all good..my advice if staying at vias is be friendly with the staff and they'll help you out..pool makes ur bikinis go green so dnt wear white ones..to get to the strip walk out the front turn left at the top then turn right and you'll see and hear everything..go to castillas restaurant which is inbetween the back entrance and front entrance on the food strip..2 euro cocktails..really nice food.. and quite cheap..advice on napa..go nissi beach! bargain with the pr's if they say they'll get u buy one get one free plus a shot for 7 euros ..get it down to like 5 or 6 and ask for free entrance to starskeys and castle..fantasy boat party is the only boat party you should go on..the others are rubbish..partyhard bar crawl was good but u have to get hammered before otherwise ur paying a fortune to get messy..and last of all..have an amazing time..dnt be lazy..do as much as you can cus ur only there 1-2 weeks and you'll have holiday blues when u come back..make memories and friends and be safe!

Vias apts was a self catering,
The room was fine, ideal for a young couple or a group of mates.
The apts was in the heart of the town and night life.
The beach was only a 10min walk and there was waterworld a about 15min walk or there was a bus every 15min
Ideal for groups of mates and young couples...not the best place for families and older people.
