“Great Time Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Girlfriend took me here for some late summer sun. Absolutely loved it. Lovely room. Great food. Definitely advise the all-inclusive offering... especially if you're like us, and only there to relax & do as little as possible

We visited from 15/10-22/10 and had a wonderful time yet again on our 2nd visit.

We paid extra for a room overlooking the pool and to be honest it was stunning, very well furnished with an extremely modern bathroom.

The staff from the reception to the maids who cleaned the rooms, the guys waiting on tables, the bar staff and of course the entertainment staff were all first class and all were so very helpful when called upon.

The food was outstanding from breakfast to lunch to dinner we could not have asked for better, local beer or Carlsberg did me fine or a lovely white house wine was excellent too while cocktails or V&T's did my wife (as much as you like :-) The Entertainment wasn't too bad either.

Nissi beach just a short walk across the road less than 100 metres and what a glorious beach, fine for all ages, young or older folks. 2.5 euro's for each sunbed was not too bad for an all days sunbathe with crystal clear blue waters with practically no waves which is very important to my wife.

Final summation, would i visit this hotel again? without any doubt at all, well worth a stay.

stayed for a week in October, booking last minute through Thomson. From the north of England all the flights were very late, getting to the hotel about 10pm.
The hotel is very nice and hard to fault, the public areas, and facilities are very good with modern toilets, hands free taps and hygiene liquids for wiping toilet seats.
Having read reviews i e- mailed the hotel for a refurbished room , which are very nice.
The pool area is lovely, but you had to have towels on beds by 9am, earlier if you wanted sun all day, even though the hotel says they will remove towels before 9am.
Because the pool is so big it was cold, the beach over the road is warmer.
Food is the best I've had all inclusive, we ate at the hotel every meal. Good choice to suit all tastes. I've read some reviews saying it was repetitive, I don't see how unless you have everything on your plate every meal.
The reason I would rate it four star is the service.
Most of the staff are miserable and don't talk to guests. Most of the waiting and bar staff are Eastern European, and don't seem to want to get involved with guests ( apart from Sebastian), only one of the restaurant management actually had a conversation with us.
As our flights were late arrival and departure, Thomson need to sort out the room situation. You have to leave your room at 12 o'clock unless you want to pay the €70 charge until 6pm, our flight home picked up at 7.15, & as dinner doesn't start until 7pm we couldn't eat before we left.
Not a problem on early flights, but the hotel and Thomson need to get their act together, for the late flights.

This was the second Atlantica Hotel we had stayed at this year. The service and standards are good. The food is varied and plentiful. Good house-keeping and maid service every day. The rooms are spacious and every room on the first floor has a balcony and view. However our room 748 did not have any sun during the day and backed onto the road and the delivery lorries were noisy early in the morning. We had a courtesy room before we left and it was superb. I think 322.
Many rooms on ground floor have swim-ups and looked lovely. This Hotel has the largest pool in Cyprus and there were waterways with bridges throughout the resort. The nearest beach is Nissi and white sand, warm clear sea. The reception at the Hotel is to be commended with their swift action when my grandson had an Asthma attack and the doctor arrived very quickly and we had good care. Also another guest slipped on the steps and again the care was very good.
There are many pool bars and indoor bars. The entertainment at night is varied and the entertainment team worked hard and provided many activities every day. The resort is very large and spacious and guests around the pool are not cramped and plenty of room for quiet areas and more active areas.

Room Tip: I have mentioned that our room 748 backed onto the area where the delivery lorries can be very noisy...

We decided on this last minute holiday for October half term. Travelled as a family with two children aged 10 and 13. We booked an executive swim up room on a half board basis but on seeing the price to upgrade to all inclusive (0.01p per person per day - unbelievable) we just had to upgrade. On arrival late at the hotel around 11pm the restaurant was closed but we had sandwiches, snacks and drinks laid out for us in reception which was quite a nice touch. An even better touch was when we checked in and were told that we had been upgraded to a two bedroomed, two bathroom swim up suite with jacuzzi bath. We had a free minibar in the room (with soft drinks and waters only) and on our patio were two sunbeds a table and chairs and two steps into the pool. It was absolutely lovely. The TV had several English channels and a 24 hour free movie channel. The hotel is classed as Aiya Napa but is some 2km from the centre and a cost of 10 euro each way in a taxi. There are loads of bars, restaurants and shops within the vicinity but it would take you a good 15 mins walk to reach them. There is a taxi rank just outside the hotel foyer with at least one taxi there at any time during the day or night. The staff are very very helpful even storing our lilo in the luggage room when we realised we still had it in the car when going out one evening rather than us having to trek all the way back to our room! Even though this is a big hotel where our room was situated (room 814) we had an area of pool to ourselves, the sun all morning on our patio and a grassed area in between two swimming pools where we could carry our sunbeds from the patio to get the afternoon sun. Although I don't know how this would be at the height of summer. The main pool area did seem to have beds reserved from early in the morning with towels on them but we stayed at the pool outside our room so I wouldn't know if bed reserving was a general problem. The food was some of the best I have seen for all inclusive, serving porridge at breakfast which is not something you usually get in tourist hotels. There are fresh food stations and themed evenings, the asian evening was particularly good. The burgers were lovely at the snack bar but this did have odd opening times - 10am to 12 noon and closed then until 3pm-5pm, so we only managed to get here once but the burgers were delicious. Lunch was rather repetitive at the buffet but you could always manage to get something to tide you over. The swim up pool bar was very handy quite near our room for the odd wine (daily) on the way back to our room. We only had dinner twice at the hotel as my husband and son weren't overly keen on the buffet for dinner so we went out into Aiya Napa and Protaras. Nissi Beach just across the road is lovely and safe but an even better beach is Lanta Bay just further down the road where you can walk out quite a distance into the calm water which comes up just above your knees and it is a little quieter than Nissi Beach as you need a car to get there, or enjoy walking! All in all we had a fantastic holiday and had plenty of relaxation. Would definitely recommend this hotel but think that this review could be quite different if written at the height of summer.

Room Tip: Swim up rooms are a lovely idea although rooms around the main pool seemed to have a very small pati...

Lovely hotel, enjoyed the accommodation, relaxing, beautiful rooms, comfy beds & what made the holiday for me: really friendly staff!

Unsure whether those who have given negative reviews actually stayed here, or what they expect, couldn't fault any aspect of the hotel in my eyes! Will definitely be returning & I can't wait!!

This is our second visit to this hotel , we stayed 15-22 Oct this year ,we came in June last year .We travelled as a family all inclusive with my daughter and grandaughter who is 2 years old
We paid full price for the 2 year old as she was sharing with our daughter
A word of warning if you have small children that want the pool in October , its Freezing!!!
We had rain and wind a couple of times in the 7 days we were there and tried the indoor pool but be aware its colder than the outside pool (its not heated). We tried the kids play pools but they too were really cold. Beach just across the road and the sea was warmer for swimming we went on a sunny warm day.
The weather was nothing like it was in early June and we had to eat inside a few times. Please note they do not allow shorts in the inside restaurant for evening meals
If you are walking out in the evening you will need a jacket and long trousers anyway as it does get quite chilly and it gets dark between 6pm-6.30pm.
There was always something going on in the way of entertainment and the team work brilliantly day and night, we didn’t actually leave the hotel in the evening as our grandaughter enjoyed the children’s entertainment and then sat with us for the main evening shows. We joined in the games around the pool daily
We had rooms 619 and 620 classed as pool view which we paid extra for but did look out over the wet bar, this wasn’t a problem and everything was lovely and clean. They cleaned the pool early everyday
You really cant fault the food and the service, there is always plenty of choice and its always hot and good quality, the staff work extremely hard. All inclusive is brilliant if you have children
Our daughters kettle didn’t work and they exchanged it even at 10pm at night, so nothing is too much trouble
There is free wi fi in reception and paid wi fi in the rooms, we used the reception wi fi and had a drink while we were waiting to go into dinner
We did find that still even in October there was a problem with sunbeds, you still needed to get up early with a towel to get the position you wanted
Bus stop right outside and we went off to Protaras for the day for 150Euros each
We understand the hotel is shutting in January for 2 months as they are updating the reception area

I wouldn't go again in October as its not really warm enough for us, but this doesn't mean we wouldn't go back

Room Tip: 619 & 620 overlook the wet bar

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your feedback and for your return visit to the hotel.

I agree with you that June is a much warmer time of year to visit than October, although the month of October still has quite warm weather it can be subject to a bit of rainfall. The sea just across the road at Nissi Beach is also a lovely time of year for swimmers.

Our indoor restaurants do have a dress code that require gentlemen to wear longer trousers for the evening meals. The entertainment team have a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the day and night, we are happy that your granddaughter enjoyed it here.

One correction is that the wi-fi is free throughout the hotel, with the difference being that there is a different connection for the lobby area and a different for the rooms and is free of charge; however details of the wi-fi connection for the rooms and lobby can be obtained from our reception desk.

Your helpful review is much appreciated we look forward to your next visit.

Best Regards,

The Atlantica Aeneas Team
