“Lovely surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Decided very last minute to take a holiday, with husband, daughter and her fiancé, booked the Melpo Antia through Thomson, the price was great, I was a little apprehensive as to what we were going to get. On arrival, we were all very pleasantly surprised, we arrived 2am, and had a lovely welcome from the night porter.
We had 2, 1 bedroom apartments with a pool view. The Melpo, has recently been renovated to a very high standard, and everything is brand new. our apartments were cleaned daily.
The breakfast was sufficient. The pool area was clean, the pool was beautiful, only wish some of the guests took note of the sign, no diving!. The staff were all very friendly.
For the price I would defiantly visit the Melpo Antia again.

Booked 7 days just for a break away but this far exceeded most hotel apartments we have stayed at in Cyprus over the past 20yrs. It had had a refurb and everything was brand new, beds, linen, cooker, kettle, toaster, pool bar area, sunbeds, restaurant furnishings, the lot. We had free air con, safe and fridge not that we needed to use any kitchenware because we upgraded to half board and were more than pleased. The breakfasts were plentiful and the evening meal each night had a theme i.e Italian, mexican, bbq, mediterranian etc.,all of which were very tasty. All staff were courteous and extremely helpful. It is situate in the centre of Ayia Napa, a haven for young and lively and because we are in our sixties didn't expect much sleep. We were surprised that we slept well as did other guests our age. Very pleasing holiday.

Room Tip: We were in 411 which was more private than a pool view room. Our view was the side of the Monastry...

As residents of Cyprus (even though not a local), we have had our choice of hotels in various places all around Cyprus. There is a reason we like to come back here and we will share it with you. As a family run hotel, they care. Everything is clean and renewed as much as they can, even though the hotel remains open all year long. The breakfast is not generally included in the price of the stay, you will pay for it on the spot, but it is worth it. A very rich selection awaits for you in English tradition and not only, with everything from eggs and bacon to fresh salad and cereals with milk.
Other pluses: private parking place, free of charge, fully equipped kitchen for self catering people (like me)
Minuses: I may complain about the fact that not all the bathrooms have adequate ventilation
In the end, I will add that this year they will close down for the winter for a more thorough renovation, so I expect a completely new standard for the next reason. We keep in touch!

Room Tip: There are rooms with pool view if you prefer but it doesn't really matter the location for the q...

I have just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel, the location is perfect close to everything you would like to do. The Apartments are nicely decorated with all that you would need and and also very spacious. The Food is great breakfast was very nice with a good choice, lunch we had snacks be the pool were prepared freshly everyday maybe a little more choice would have been nice. Dinner is served in the restaurant in front of the Hotel and there is always a nice choice from a different set menu. All in all Great Stay!!

Stayed there for 2 week's. Hotel is OK. Room was clean, bed's was too hard and uncomfortable and the blanket was kind of disgusting.
Quite frankly I didn't like the whole place at all. Nearest beach wasn't nice, sand wasn't soft.. nissi beach too far. There was a small pool in hotel we stayed at.
We also went to capital and Limassol..
well.. not much to see or shop there. Wouldn't go again.

A terrible hotel. We stayed seven nights and I think it was seven nights too much. I try to find just one nice thing to say about the hotel, but I do not find any.
