“Absolutely first class and excellent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Fabulous evening. Exceptional meal and amazing service, top drawer, will return many times. The venue is spectacular, beautifully designed and furnished, the quality of the food is as good as we have had anywhere yet the prices are very reasonable. Service too was excellent. Highly recommended

“A place with interesting interior architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

A charming restaurant in splendid modern surroundings Full marks to the interior designer It makes a welcome change from the ' typical dark' decor of most restaurants in the Golden Triangle
The food is good and well presented
There is a very good inexpensive house wine list If you are worried about the wine ask to taste it first!
A great place for a party if one was inclined.
The music was worth listening to - again a change from the usual droning background
Special nights on Thursday and Friday would be interesting
Tres bien! Go Maith ar fad. Lovely place.

“BEAUTIFUL PLACE BUT OVERPRICED”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

We normally eat early and were the only patrons at 7.30pm when we arrived at the restaurant. Despite a number of staff being present service was slow. A party which arrived after us was served first - not impressed!
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean and the food is good. HOWEVER, the portion sizes are very small and the "set menu" price was not such good value when we added basic foods such as vegetables etc
Enjoyable - but we would not go back. Having visited this area for the last 13 years we know that there is better value for money for an meal of equal quality.

“Its a pity!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

This is a beautifully built and decorated restaurant. Beware that it is only a fixed price (€35) menu, which you will not be told when you book. The selection is very good, albeit the portion of turbot with a €4-50 supplement was a very small morsel. Many items have an additional supplement varying from €4 to €11. I found it odd that there still was a further charge of €3 per person for the unrequested bread/butter covert. Very mean! Overall the food was very good, the staff pretty dull and there appeared to be no proprietor/manager on duty. Nice live music by sax player but tables in outdoor area poorly arranged with two out of our party of three looking into the dark. Despite the wonderful surroundings and music, it lacked ambience. Bill for our party of three including one bottle of house wine (€16-50) a hefty €158. Still worth a visit.
