Dined at Vaults last week on their Curry Night (Wednesdays - 25 Euros for 2 curries and a bottle of House Wine). The restaurant is in an interesting vaulted building (hence the name!) and is run by English people, on the main street in Almancil.
Had mixed feelings overall. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and the curries and other main courses we had (Morrocan lamb especially) were very good and tasty, but like a previous reviewer mentioned, the deep fried calamari was of the frozen variety, which was surprising when there is so much fresh seafood readily available locally.
Prices were reasonable, welcome good, but not many other people were there, so not much atmosphere, which was a shame.
