“Three wonderful weeks at the Miramare”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2011

We have just returned from three wonderful weeks at the Miramare Hotel. It is very difficult to single one member of staff as they were all outstanding. The hotel was immaculate and of the highest comfort, this is a small family run hotel and it really shows. Each and every member of staff made all guests welcome and comfortable. The owners work within the hotel and are always approachable and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and it was much appreciated by us.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor overlooking the pathway into the village,it was at all times quiet.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, beautifull and well attended garden. A real holiday for us.

Very pleased to find such a comfortable and well appointed hotel which was such good value. It was as good as actually staying with our friends on previous visits to Evia.

we stayed only for one night, I recommend you to go on Saturday cause there will be a Greek dance which was. really nice and my 20 old baby liked it alot and danced with them. it is a nice hotel for children, there is a park as well, but what we missed there, no children swimming pool, so u have to keep them with u in the main swimming pool

A good location near to Eritria and only 5 mins from the Oropou ferry.

Stayed in a garden room which was OK. Aircon for a hot July was not a good as it should have been. Rooms were fine, had a triple and there was enough space. beds were brand new and comfy. The pool was nice. Bar service was awful and we waited an age to be served.

The reception staff were lovely and really very helpful. They advised on the best places to visit and had good tourist info to hand.

Breakfast was sadly rather grotty. Rolls were stale, coffee awful and the orange juice bore no relation in anything other than colour to the fruit it was said to come from. The dining room was rather faded and while we ended up outside we were hemmed in between the smokers. There was no temptation to eat here in the evenings. Eirtiea waterfront has loads of decent places to eat and is only a short drive away.

The hotel is a real throwback to the 80's. Thankfully revamped but there's more to be done if it is going to shed the crazy paving and dreadful dining room.

Evia is however stunning and if you are not going to spend much time in the hotel but want a decent enough location this is a reasonable choice.
