“Good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

The location and views from this apartment are good. It had been recently renovated, so the kitchen and bathrooms are modern. The balcony was the best feature with views of the river but being south facing, it was cold until the afternoon. Carrying suitcases and shopping up and down the stairs was a challenge, and not for the faint hearted. The free wi-fi was very slow, and intermittent, and pretty useless. The furniture looks good but is not comfortable, except for the beds, which were great.
The building and renovation work seems to be going on all over Hastings st, and directly across the river from this apartment they started at 6.30 am.

The location is great, but seriously Noosa, Hastings Street is a gaudy overpriced area.

The management both male and female seriously lack management and customer skills, and should understand that tourists are their bread and butter.
When we checked in the manager was sour and rude. Our only contact with them over several days was a note placed in our room.
Our room was on the second floor. A long climb for seniors.

The room contained only one toilet roll, and one set of towels. Any extra would be added to our bill during our weekly stay. The carpet and decor is aging.

We had a nice balcony overlooking the car park, but had to keep the doors closed due to the noise. The car park starts to fill up around six thirty in the morning so sleeping in was impossible.

On the last day our friend slipped on the stair which was covered in water from the garden sprinklers, and sustained injuries which has caused him to seek ongoing medical treatment, and a week off work.

This place has potential, but requires a face lift and a new management attitude.

We won't be returning.

The location of this unit can't be beat. The river, beach, shops and restaurants are easily accessible. The unit was clean and large enough for 3 adults to stay comfortably and still have privacy. We had a nice balcony to sit on and all the comforts of home (refrigerator, stove, microwave, tea kettle and washer/dryer). The only downside was that there was construction being done next door and they usually started working somewhat early in the morning during the week days.

Luxurious contemporary designed apartment with fabulous views from the private balcony overlooking the Noosa River. Situated on the famous Hastings St with a myriad of designer shops, restaurants and galleries at the front door and the beautiful Noosa surf beach just over the road. This address has it all. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make it easy to share with friends. We will definitely stay here again.

I made an enquiry to stay here for the Noosa Food and Wine Festival. On the website they were offering a "Special deal" for this event. I attempted to select the special but it kept bouncing back with a zero dollar value, so I sent in the electronic enquiry (which you do by selecting that package and hitting enquire).

The reply I got back was for the standard rack rates and didnt mention any special inclusions related to the festival so I sent a friendly reply back asking about the package and requesting details etc. Got a very abrupt one line reply saying the package was for 3 nights and I had selected 2 in my enquiry... Ok no problem, but still no detail on what the actual package is - and as it happens, we were open to coming for 2 or 3 nights... So I reply back asking for further details on what the package is. Another abrupt borderline rude reply?!

Seriously - the female manager needs to learn some customer service skills. I realise its Noosa Hastings street so snobbery can be rife (lol) - but its simply not acceptable in a customer service environment.

In my mind, a hotel can be as nice as its like - but its customer service sucks (like it does at this place) it makes for a very poor experience indeed, and one best avoided.

Just booked Number 2 for family holiday in April 13. We've been going to Noosa most years since 1996. Always Hastings street, tried three other places 'on the strip', but number 2's location and unit position (top floor) ensures privacy and relative peace and quiet. Our preferred room is a bit dated, but it is clean it is tidy it is comfortable and certainly meets our needs. On-site managers do a good job and are friendly and accommodating. Yes the fee is high but it is Hastings street and as such you do pay for the privilege. Our expectations are realistic and we are quite satisfied.

Room Tip: Up top, river end noosa woods apartment. Quiet, private and comfortable. Our choice every time.
