“Unbelievable value for money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2011 via mobile

We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather over our three night stay in noosa with an awesome place to stay to match. Had a room overlooking the pool which we have always requested at other hotels and never received. Great place to go with kids, huge rooms for $79 per night, hubby and I thought it was a perfect getaway that is so close to Hastings street and a great place to just chill on the verandah when you get back. Have recommended this place to everyone. Will be back!

We had a fabulous stay in this resort from March 27th for 8 nights in 1 bed apartment.
Had requested a ground floor apartment with a nice outlook and one that was well maintained. I am fussy about my surroundings. We like upmarket casual with no fuss and this suited us just fine.
Timber floors, timber shutters, nice cane furniture, jungle garden (well maintained) over 5 acres and 4 pools. It was quiet, no road noise. The apt was well appointed, had everthing we needed in the kitchenette and a laundry behind folding doors in the bathroom. The lounge room opened out onto the deck which had 2 cane chairs and a small table that looked over to one of the pools. Spent lots of time on the deck sitting and reading. (The 2 bed apt's had larger wrap around decks)
Although we saw people coming and going and heard normal sounds of people enjoying themselves in the restaurant and around the pools it did not feel busy or overcrowded.
The weather was overcast all the time we were there, however it was still warm and we still enjoyed a swim and a spa everyday.
We had our car for trips to further away destinations but it was an easy 2 minute walk to the bakery, cafes, aldi, fish & chips and general store just up the road. The farmer markets on Sunday morning were held next door and they were worth the visit.
Heather on front desk and other staff around the resort we found to be friendly & helpful.
Really good rates were available ($80 for 1 bed apt ) It is not a 5 star hotel, its self contained accomodation so if you are happy doing your own thing you should enjoy it too.
Will stay here again on our next Noosa break.

stayed here for 9 nights 5/3 to 14/3/2011. Resort is very well kept, kids loved the large pools and spa area. Units are well appointed albeit showing a little wear and tear in places. Cleaning could be better but overall the units have everthing you need when travelling with Kids (washing machine & Dryer, kids chaneels on tv etc). So overall very pleased with the accomodation and would stay again.

tip: farmers market on sunda right next door is great as is the german bakery and ALDI supermarekt a 3 min walk.

Stayed here for 3 nights in March 2011 - cost $354 for 3 nights so $116 or so a night - this was a 2 bedroom apartment.

Check in was easy, quick and very friendly, staff pointed out places to go, whats good for kids.

Room was lovely, bed was so comfortable which is important! Spacious apartment and large wrapping balcony was on 3rd floor. Furniture all nice and modern. Kitchen VERY well equipped and even had a wok. Bathrooms (2) were fine, spa in one.

Pools - 4 of them were great, nice and warm. Spas in 3 too i think. Even a toilet by the pool.

Ate at restaurant for a $10 lunch which was really good. Also went to the german bakery 5 mins walk away and that was awesome, great brunches and pastries. Aldi walking distance too and a quaint book store.

Noosa's hasting st a 5 min drive away and more shops within 5 min drive.

We had only one day of good weather and 3 of heavy rain so was good that we had a nice apartment to stay in!

Hope to be back one day and definitely recommend it to people. Great price too.

Hired a portacot - $11 a day without linen.

Only complaint - no phone in room but we didnt really need anyway!

For lovers of fresh seafood - Mooloolaba Fishermans co-op - in Mooloolaba (35 mins drive) awesome.. can buy fresh seafood and have it cooked there and good $. We had 6 oysters, 1/2 kilo fresh prawns & sauce, crayfish mornay and kids meals all for $50.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2011

We stayed with friends at South Pacific in December 2010, the week before Christmas. We were all very impressed with the size of our rooms and the great wrap around balcony area. We had our 2 year old with us, so the 2 bedroom was good value and perfect for us. Our friends had a one bedroom but still had lots of room. The lagoon pools were great for our little one as were the spas.

We were able to walk to the local shops to get everything we needed - either to cook dinner or take away and there is a fantastic German bakery/cafe/restaurant called Wolf's nearby, an organic grocer/cafe and Aldi supermarket, so you could easily walk and get everything you needed. We also walked to the Noosa Riverfront several times, which took about 20mins pushing a pram.

I must admit, I was hesitant to try Noosa at Christmas but found Noosaville absolutely lovely and at South Pacific, it always felt relaxed and not busy, even though it was full, probably due to several pool/spa areas. We did venture into Hastings St and the other local shopping centres and they were crazy, so it was nice to escape back to our secluded and private hideaway. We had a few days of rain but the apartment was well designed with the outdoor undercover balcony, that you could sit out there and not go stir crazy.

There is also a restaurant (with $10 lunches), a shuttle into town and day spa at the resort.

We will definitely be back.

Having just left this resort today, I miss it already. We stayed there after reading other reviews on here and it certainly lived up to expectations. The apartments are very nice and tropical with wood flooring, louvre windows, cane furniture and nice and spacious. The gardens are just gorgeous and everything is so well maintained. Our apt overlooked pool #4 and our boys loved it.
Our only issue was the noise between apartment levels given the wood floors. We had very noisy people above us, who left for work each morning at 5am and were not very considerate of keeping the noise down. To overcome this, next time we stay, and we would definitely only stay here in Noosa, we'd ask for either a top level apartment and one that didn't have the car bays underneath.
The beauty spa also on site is also very nice and Heather on the front desk of the hotel, who we presume is the manager, is also very friendly and helpful :)

Sadly we got alot of rain but who cares your already wet when your in the pool anyhow.
We sayed in a spacious 3 bedroom unit, lovely timber finishings full kitchen & laundry, undercover parking.
We had a very pretty veiw of the pool i think most rooms do as there is 4 pools in the resort (all lagoon style & some heated) Little extras made it great like the fact that they dont charge extra to use the tennis court or table tennis table.
you will need a car here if your staying long enough to have to go shopping ect...
