“Comfortable quality hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

The hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard, and continues to provide a quality experience for the traveller. The rooms are really big - plenty of space to spread out! Huge bed, very comfortable and loads of extra bedding if required. Lovely big bathroom and everything spotlessly clean. My only complaint would be that the shower pressure was not great. The pool area is huge, pool is lovely and the swim up bar a bonus. Loads of loungers and umbrellas, but I would imagine that at the height of the season it may be quite hard to snag one of them! We didn't use the spa or restaurant. The reason for only 4 stars? No free Wifi which to our minds in this day and age should be standard.

Room Tip: Ask for pool view

I am a regular visitor to Noosa but haven't stayed at the Sheraton for a number of years. This visit hasn't enticed us back. We started off disappointed when an email sent by the hotel a couple of days prior, stated a 12pm check-in which we had requested in order to get ready for a wedding. We were promptly told that the room would not be ready and they don't guarantee any requests despite the hotels email. We were never offered direction to the bathrooms despite clearly needing somewhere to get changed! The one bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We ate at the buffet breakfast which was satisfactory but nothing more than that. I found it slightly unusual that a five star hotel would direct you to find your own table and as a result we had to look for a waitress to take our coffee order. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. On check-out we were charged for sofa bed/extra linen when we never requested this, which ended our stay as it started...thoroughly disappointed. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. If you want value for money at half the price...stay at the Sebel or one of the many lovely hotels beachside.

We stayed here overnight in a river view king room on the fourth floor. The view of the river was lovely at sunset & the room was spacious and very clean.

The hotel pool area was impressive. The giant pool was heated to 28 degrees which was great! Open until 10pm so if you go after dinner you will probably have the pool to yourself.

Breakfast buffet was an add-on. It was fairly comprehensive but there are loads of other options on Hastings St which are worth trying.

We were surprised and delighted to see that the hotel has a pedestrian exit into the middle of Hastings St so it's only ever a two minute walk from the hotel to the main shopping and dining area and beach. A fifteen minute walk will get you to the walking track of the national park.

(Keep in mind that the main entrance to the hotel (and parking) is not on Hastings St despite this being their "address". You will need to enter on Noosa Parade.)

Overall: an enjoyable stay!

We are regular visitors to the Sheraton Noosa having been many times in the last 10-12 years. The Sheraton has a recent upgrade and the rooms continue to be well presented. Service was professional, with all special requests met. This year we stayed in a river view room which has some road noise, but great sunsets. Our only complaint, came when we left early due to poor weather. The generic Sheraton cancellation policy stated that an early departure fee may be applicable, to be determined by the hotel. The Sheraton Noosa charged us for the full stay despite us giving two nights notice. We offered to pay a one night penalty, but this was not accepted. We are unlikely to return as a result.

Room tip: ask for a high floor within your room class.

all tap beers are off - not something you want to hear when you walk into a bar after a long journey and looking for a cleansing ale! Only bottled beers available. We weren't very impressed and the bar staff made no apologies for this.

The staff was welcoming, the room pleasant with a nice view. We were disappointed by the pina colada by the pool, it was more like a smoothy with a lot of ice and nothing much else. The buffet breakfast was nice, but not grand. Over all we had a good relaxing time in pleasant surroundings

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view on the river

We stayed for a week with another couple on a holiday package which gave us a pool view room. The rooms are very comfortably sized and include dining table and chairs and a lounge. There is a small kitchen/bar, and the bathroom has a spar bath and separate shower of decent proportions.
The hotel has been recently refurbished throughout, including what is now a very stylish restaurant and bar fronting the main street Hastings St. This provides a very good breakfast, lunch and fine dining at night. The pool is of good size, catches the sun all day, and there are plenty of lounges to enjoy.
The staff are helpful and friendly and made our stay most enjoyable. The hotel is very well located centrally on Hastings St and two minutes from the delightful Noosa Beach. Along Hastings St are many shops which will entice you to spend as well as some very good restaurants.
The hotel also has good car parking for your car, and is alongside the wharf for the Noosa River ferry. We had good WiFi internet service throughout the property.
