Apart from all the usual things that make it a great place to stay, they have come up with a 'Green Option' that not only makes you feel better about the environment but rewards you as well. If you don't want your room cleaned or bedding and towels changed every day you put the 'Green Option' sign on the door and you receive a $20 credit, which can be used on food or drinks at any of the bars or restaurants in the hotel. That's what I call imaginative. Keep it up Sheraton.

We've been so excited to stay here as we've pretty much stayed everywhere in Noosa - but have stayed away due to the comments of it being outdated etc... Unfortunately we stayed here during the WORST weather ever - the floods! But we tried to make the most of it. Check in was great - however it's a bit rich to charge $20/night for parking when it's 5 star and the prices are on the higher-end, but we paid it.

The staff who checked us in were absolutely AMAZING! The lady couldn't be any friendlier and couldn't wipe the smile off her face! She apologised for the weather and offered many wet weather actives which we thought was lovely :)

The foyer is stunning - and the location is INCREDIBLE!!! Definitely the best in Noosa.

The room is so spacious, lush and we had the best night sleep on every night!

We also had the best espresso martini in the bar which was good in the weather...

There were 2 significant negatives of the stay:

The first - we purchased all these DVD's as it was raining the whole weekend and they charged us $10/night to BORROW the DVD. Not reminiscent of 5 star...

The BIGGEST (x1000) disappointment was them not giving us the room we paid for :( We purchased the Sheraton Surprise which is where you could get any room ranging from a river view/pool view right up to a lifestyle studio - so we took the chance and paid the higher rate in the hopes of getting the lifestyle studio. TOTALLY backfired on us and we get a 'tree view' as in we didn't even get a river view room... You could see the river if we did a circus balancing act on each others shoulders! So we are still feeling quite ripped off! They acted like the knew when they checked us in and skipped around the topic... And the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't swap to the room that we paid for...

Not sure if we would stay here again as we feel quite ripped of by offering a service and not delivering on it...

Besides that - everything else was lovely.

Sheraton Noosa is a lovely hotel with a great location on Hastings St. It is close to numerous restaurants and you also have Cato's attached to the hotel. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable although if you like a modern room this wouldn't be the place to stay (in the halls they have green seashell carpet that looks like it's out of the 80s). The staff are all lovely and very friendly which really makes this a lovely place to stay.

Perfect location, Great rooms - Enormous with lounge area, Dining table & mini Kitchen which we weren't really expecting - though the room would just be the normal 2 x double beds etc. 2 Adults & 2 kids very comfortable. Bucketed with rain during our stay but still went in the pool and had plenty of space to amuse ourselves in the room when we were trapped inside.
Great breakfast. Paid $279 per night including breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Bathrooms really need a makeover though - They look very 80's and are extremely tired.
Beds were fantastic.
