“Can't wait to come back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2011

Just spent 7 days with my husband and two children and had an amazing time. We had a beautiful two bedroom apartment, huge kitchen, plenty of room for us all...spent most of the time on the balcony looking straight out at the beach. We felt like royalty! You can even see the beach from the pool! Family friendly with a games room that kept the kids busy on the one day that it rained and free wi-fi internet was a bonus...very rare! The staff were very helpful, found a spot to store our over sized kayak and gave us some great restaurant recommendations...we can't stop raving about this place and look forward to getting back there as soon as we can.

Room Tip: The rooms on level one would be great if you have small children.

My family and I recently stayed at the Fairshore Beachfront Apartments and we have not had a better holiday. The rooms were bright and airy and the view was to die for. We could enjoy our breakfast on the balcony while overlooking the pool and gorgeous beach. We were right on Hastings Street and everything was at our fingertips, from the Ice Cream Parlor (kids) to shopping and wonderful restaurants. The smallest of our children loved the wading pool and the staff at Accom Noosa were so friendly, and the daily service made sure we ALL had a break. We will definately be back next year,

Room Tip: Some units are over the pool and some have access direct to beach or higher up to veiw the beach mor...

We stayed at the new and "renovated" Fairshore and were extremely disappointed. For a start, all the furniture and accessories (cutlery, kettle, toaster etc) were old and dirty. Our kettle was completely rusty! The airconditioning broke during our stay, and management (Accom Noosa) were completely rude and unapologetic. They adavertise the rooms as being serviced daily, however, all they do is give you fresh towels and take out the rubbish. There is no replenishment of soaps, washing liquid etc. This place is very family unfriendly with pram access virtually non existent to most apartments. For that price, go over the road and stay at the Sheraton....I know we will next time!

Dear Beachlover, i have attempted to contact you direct without luck to discuss your experience with us. I was keen to clarify some comments before positing this comment. We are quite taken aback with your comments, though we have taken them on board to ensure we maintain the highest level of service at all times. I would just like to confirm that Fairshore re-opened as a new resort in Oct 2010, hence i am a little concerned that you refer to old furniture and appliances etc, as everything is new. Our daily service, from day one, includes the replenishment of all guest amenities and consumables. I say without any hesitation that our staff receive daily commendations for their service, so again i am a little confused. Our proud return &/or word of mouth clientele rate sits at 60%, a testament to how seriously we focus on our service levels. If you would like to contact me at anytime please call 1800 072078.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my two teenage sons and my parents the week before Christmas. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the apartment was bright and clean. Our apartment was serviced daily with fresh towels (if required), beds made and rubbish removed. Fairshore Beachfront Apartments are situated in between Noosa's Main Beach and the shopping strip of Hasting St. The location was unbelievably perfect as we could walk out the front of our apartment to the pool area and beach or step out onto Hasting St in other direction. The apartments have been recently renovated and are tastefully decorated. We were on the 2nd floor which meant we had to walk up 10 steps to our door as the lift only went to the first floor but this really wasn’t a big deal. If stairs are a problem then I would recommend a 1st floor apartment. A few steps away from our door was a communal entertainment area with gas barbeques, tables and outdoor lounge. There are three of these areas within the complex. We used this area on two occasions to cook dinner and then dine outside. Inside we had a king size bed in one room and a double and single in another.
We enjoyed many hours sitting on our balcony watching and listening to the waves roll in. The view was amazing. The apartment's easy access to Hasting St meant we could dine out, shop or simply enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes without having to drive anywhere.
Noosa is a beautiful part of the world and the Fairshore Beachfront Apartments only enhanced our stay.

The Fairshore Apartments

Negatives:

• Lack of amenities (tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner and 1 small soap)
• Small bedrooms (specifically the second bedroom)
• 1 light cleaning service a day ($20 for making bed and taking out rubbish, no other cleaning)
• Only 1 towel per person and towels do not get replaced!
• No lift to access your room (big stairs to go to floors 2 and 3)
• Advertised as free WIFI, however it only worked in 1 out of 3 of our rooms…reception said there is a problem but no compensation)
• Very small cupboards in bedrooms and NO drawers!
• Some rooms only had 1 t.v.
• Austar/foxtel had only limited channels (only about 5 worked and half the time the TV. had no signal)
*We arrived in our room and realised that our only bathroom had a sewerage problem. On the second day we notified reception and a plumber was sent to investigate. The outcome was that nothing could be done and after numerous times of complaining all they offered was $150 discount. However we had to put up with this odorous smell all week and no effort was made to comfort us about this problem.
*Every morning there was a very noisy building work, which started at 7am. This was especially annoying as we were on holidays and would have liked to sleep in.
*The apartments advertise free WIFI in the entire complex. However, out of our three rooms only one had very slow Internet. When we asked reception why it didn’t work they said ‘we are waiting for a part to arrive and it MIGHT work if you go down to the garage’. There was no compensation and they were not apologetic.
*House keeping was appalling, as they did not clean the room, all they did was make beds and take out rubbish. Soap, shampoo and conditioner was not replaced and we were told that if we wanted more to buy it.

Positives:

• Great location
• Nice apartment but small (minus the negatives)
• Friendly but useless staff
• Nice pool and garden

I would recommend to stay here as long as you do not book with accom noosa.

We stayed for five nights and were delighted with the location - centrally located in Hastings Street and conveniently located on the beachfront.
The resort has just been renovated and so it is clean and bright and modern. The kitchen and lounge area is very impressive. The pool area is great - pool, wading pool, spa and barbecue area. It is only a few steps to the famous Noosa beach.
The bedrooms are adequate but not spacious. Although there was air conditioning in both bedrooms, there was no air conditioning in the kitchen/lounge area. However, this wasn't a problem for us because we just opened the sliding glass doors that face the water to get a pleasant sea breeze.
The fitout seems to vary from one unit to another. For example, our TV was only quite small whereas other units had large TVs fixed to the wall. Our unit had no light in the lounge area but this might have been a temporary issue.
For the first day, the WiFi reception was good but on subsequent days it varied from adequate to non-existent. Their WiFi is located in the games room which seems to indicate a lack of understanding of the importance of WiFi in 2010 because most people need to it nowadays for their iPhones or Blackberries as well as their laptops. People use these devices for pleasure rather than just for business. A trip to the internet cafe near the roundabout solved the problem.
If you have a baby in a pram (like we did), you need to be aware of the steps. However, the renovation included an elevator up to the level where the units are. Then there are only a few steps down to your unit (unless you are on a higher level).
Noosa is a great place for a holiday and this is a fabulous location. It was a great place to stay.
