We stayed at the Outrigger for 5 nights recently.
When we arrived we had a good welcome at reception,
our room was good we had a one bedroom apartment in the national park,
but... we didn't sleep very well the whole time, the pillows were really uncomfortable, to use one was to thin and squashy and to use two was horrible as well, needed thicker pillows! and there is no duvet on the beds,
just thin blankets which didn't keep us warm, we had to have the heat on full
and loud which I hate to be warm at this time of year.
The first day we arrived we went down to the pool, looking forward to a swim etc,
but the pool was freezing! obviously not heated! and a Spa would have been nice.
Breakfast was good, But with the restaurant, we got a voucher for two drinks on arrival,
we went to the bar the first night and the guys snapped at us and told us we
have to have a full meal to use them, wasn't a good start, that was fine but he didnt have to be so rude about it and it had no conditions on the vouchers anywhere! they also advertise two for one cocktails, so we decided one night to go and have some, when we went to look at the cocktail menu the girl said we could choose one each, the guy turned around in front of us and yelled at the waitress saying no they had to be the same! Made us feel really uncomfortable and we felt sorry for the girl, you could see the tension between them the whole night. They also told us we had to book for tea later that night otherwise we wouldnt get a table, so we booked a table as it was raining and we didnt want to drink and drive to elsewhere, but there is no way we needed to book, it was dead! The whole feeling and service of the restaurant there was just awful!
