“Modern, friendly resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful "girls" long weekend staying in a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were nice and well appointed, and the kitchen well equipped. Everything was clean and of good standard. The resort staff at reception were exceptional!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Would definitely return!

Thank you and an absolute pleasure to host your girls weekend away. More so, your comments on our reception staff are much appreciated. They enjoy reading the feedback and take great pride in what they do. We look forward to your return.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in November as babysitters for our grandchildren whose parents were attending a weekend wedding in Noosa.
Our apartment was excellent and very tastefully decorated.
Our daughter's family stayed in a 3 bedroom villa that was huge and more than adequate for the five of them.
The morning buffet breakfast was excellent value for all of us using our $20 discount vouchers and the service and staff were very efficient.
Hastings Street was a fairly good walk down the hill but not overly hard - however the walk back up can be depending on your conditioning. The free buggy transportation was more than adequate when needed.
It was interesting that my daughter and her family and ourselves all found the intensity of the lighting in various areas inside the apartments left a lot to be desired. In particular the bathroom lighting over the basin made it just about impossible for the females in our party to put on their makeup.
A suggestion for intending female guests would be to take their own portable illuminated bathroom mirror.
All in all though a very nice property in a secluded loaction with good proximity to the main part of Noosa

Room Tip: A suggestion for intending female guests would be to take their own portable illuminated bathroom mi...

Good morning babysitters!

With two nieces very excited about their return visit to the resort over the upcoming holidays I hold a fair idea of how much mum and dad enjoyed their short break in Noosa whilst the children left in capable hands back on the resort.

Thank you for your kind words and, whilst not sure to what level we can address bathroom lighting into the future, trust the inconvenience not taking too much from your enjoyment of the resort.

We look forward to welcoming you and your extended family all back to the Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort and Spa soon.

Very pleasing and careful design means that while this is a large resort, it nestles in its tropical rainforest environment without dominating it. Stylish apartments, a large airy restaurant and close proximity to both the national park. beach and many local boutiques and restaurants makes this a really great place to stay. We would go back.

We recently stayed in Sunrise Penthouse 4401 with friends. We had 6 adults and 2 children and it was a great choice! The penthouse is HUGE...3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a media room all on one level--which was great with the kids. It is an open plan kitchen/dining/living room which opens on to an AMAZING balcony. Since we had the kids we actually bought groceries and had few dinners in the apartment...the kitchen is a chef's/entertainers dream! I noticed some people commented about the penthouses with ending in 02 facing the bush, but we liked having the natural light in the apartment and 4401 is high enough that you didn’t feel like people could look in. Plus, I think this apartment would have a better view of the ocean.

The master bedroom has the amazing views as well as a fabulous bathroom and massive walk-in closet--I wish I could have it at home.

We had some lovely evenings with nibbles and champers on the balcony while kids watched a movie in the media room. There was so much space so we never felt crowded but since everything is on 1 level there was no need to worry about the kids.

We followed the directions and easily found he back entrance off Viewland Drive which is used during the day...plenty of parking as well which was appreciated since we had 2 cars. The walk to Hastings Street didn't bother us...in fact was welcome after some filling dinners! We used the lap pool and the gym which were nice and the kids liked the pool.

Will definitely come back and the penthouses are a great option for groups of friends or larger families-definitely worth the price!

Room Tip: We loved Sunrise 4401--great views of the ocean!

Good morning and thank you for such a wonderful review.
In October we launched the collection under Outrigger Little Hastings Street Villas and Penthouses. The Penthouses are a range of single level three bedroom apartments, those in Sunrise having views out over Laguna Bay.

When it comes to holidaying with friends and family space and convenience factor greatly into accommodation decisions. Setting the villa and penthouse collection apart from other holiday homes in Noosa is that they are within the 5-star Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort and Spa, so guests can enjoy daily servicing, room service all the resort facilities, plus guests staying in this beautiful collection of private two, three and four bedroom deluxe villas, penthouses and treetop villas also enjoy exclusive use of Brooke’s Pool that commands sweeping views of Laguna Bay stretching up to Double Island Point.

Certainly arguable the premier accommodation product in Noosa, if not the Sunshine Coast, Outrigger Little Hastings Street Villas and Penthouses are extremely well priced for the size, position and layout.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family back soon.

The Outrigger Apartments were quite nice inside but it didn't feel like being at the beach as it was nestled in amongst the trees - something I didn't know about beforehand. Access to Hastings Street is fine so long as you're prepared to walk up the hill at night, or drive around to the other entry gate after hours. We found it hard to find the place also, it's not where it looks like it is on a map - access is via Viewland Drive.

I would also recommend wandering down to the main strip for meals as the food at the hotel restaurant was a bit too 'try hard' and didn't really overwhelm us. Having said that though, we like nice food, so don't let it deter you if you're after something familiar and done adequately.

Overall it was clean, convenient enough for a weekend away and quiet.

Rating three of the five stars suggests we failed to meet with your expectations.

Your reference to a map (all that present the resort located between two roads that terminate in the Noosa National Park) and all booking supply channels, and indeed at the top of this forum, clearly identifying the unique dual access (From 7am Viewland Dr, From 7pm Little Hastings St., Noosa) so I’m unsure how you were expecting to be on the beach or that the resort would have beach views?

I also respect your recommendation to wander down the hill to Hastings Street for dining but there is neither reference in your comments here nor identification of other venues within your 26 reviews identifying an alternate so that we may qualify to address your concerns. Over the last year we have doubled our covers conversion and doubled our average spend in View on Little Hastings Restaurant and our conference delegates’ positive comments on F&B and service delivery see PCO rebooking events year on year so we have some confidence now of our product, positioning and pricing amongst the wide options from Surf Club to Berardo’s.

It is unfortunate we were unable to overwhelm you with our food and our physicality provided for such inconvenience; perhaps we may be in a position to welcome you back in the future should your intent for travel have a different focus at the time. Certainly, please feel free to contact us directly prior to any booking commitment should you have any further query about our facilities, product and services.

We stayed here in October & had a wonderful time. This was our third trip to Noosa & the only time we have really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a balconly with a very beautiful tropical outlook. The only issue I had was there didn't seem to be any directions on how to get into the resort during the day. There is one way in at night & different way out during the day. A little more signage would be a great help

Room Tip: We booked a mystery deal through Wot-if & were glad it was the Outrigger. We suspected from the...

Signage and access.

One of the more interesting comments regarding signage and access is the acknowledgement the on first access down the daytime driveway there is an unmistakable build of anticipation and excitement on what lies ahead. A unique access to an even more unique resort. Part apartment complex, part tree house. An eco friendly hideaway only a short stroll from the shopping mecca of Hastings Street and the iconic Noosa beach.

Glad you had a wonderful time and at least next time you’ll know exactly where you need to come in from - From 7am Viewland Dr, From 7pm Little Hastings St., Noosa

Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

The Outrigger on Little Hastings Street is amazing. Great location, great views, great staff, nothing is too much trouble. It will be the only place I'll ever stay at Noosa again.

Love your work guys!
