“beautiful accomm in Pemby”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Wonderfully presented cottages only 6km from the town. Had everything you would need for a lovely getaway in the country. The view from the cottages is superb - gorgeous karris! And we also enjoyed the view of little blue wrens bathing in the birdbath just outside the glass doors as we sat at the table enjoying our breakfast. If you want to visit Pemberton and enjoy being a little out of town - I can thoroughly recommend.

Lovely, discreet cottages over the road from the Bibulum Track. Fully furnished in an elegant but practical manner. Wood fire with plenty of wood and topped off with free eggs and vegetables from the garden. Particularly enjoyed the rhubarb. Friendly owners and beautiful garden.

We have just spend two beautiful nights in these cottages and could not fault them. Wonderful hosts, who gave us lots of local information. The cottage was just beautiful, spotlessly clean, private and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed, plenty of pots and pans and the BBQ, also very clean, was a delight to use. Cooler nights meant that we needed to light the wood heater, all the wood needed was cut to size and right at the door. The view to the Karri forest from the lounge room and bedroom was gorgeous, as were the morning walks in the forest. The lovely native gardens around the cottage attracted lots of native birds. The location just out of Pemberton is ideal. A very peaceful retreat that we will definitely return to: its worth the long trip from Melbourne to stay here! Highly recommended, probably the best cottage accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Just back from a 3 night stay at these charming cottages in this beautiful area. Close to Big Brook Dam where we spent a lovely afternoon swimming and sun-bathing on the small beach. The accommodation is not too rustic (good) but nicely decorated in an updated cottage-y style. Sparklingly clean, no evidence of previous occupants (always a plus), crisp white linen and a BBQ which looked newer than new. Kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful gardens provide privacy from the neighbouring cottages and also screen the road which is at the bottom of the long driveway. Really loved this place and plan to return later in the year.

Room Tip: We stayed in Cottage # 4(one bedroom), which is the end one away from the main driveway, we felt it...

We had a great stay at big brook cottages, a very warm welcome followed by quick tour of lodge & grounds. Whilst we stayed we took an ecotour from Pemberton through the forest over the dunes out to the ocean (fantastic tour). We also did some great walks on the tracks on the other side of road from cottages which hosts gave us some great advice on.
The lodge was immaculately finished and had every facility you required all to a very high standard. 5 star accommodation. We chose to have the breakfast basket which is optional and we found it had a great selection and was enough for two breakfast's.
We stayed for two nights and had a very relaxing time and could have stayed for longer.

My husband and I stayed here over christmas, and loved it. We were in one of the cottages, they were clean and had everything we needed, even board games. Kitchen was fully equipped, and a BBQ. Grounds were pretty and well maintained.

An excellent B&B in features and fittings, with a non cooked breakfast only. However the gardens and setting was lovelly, and the owners were very accommodating. It was close to forest walks and far enough out of Pemberton to be quiet at night but close enough for dinner. We went to the Hazards and falls in the area which were short walks with nice scenery.

Room Tip: The B&B offered 2 rooms one with spa bath.
