“It All Comes Together Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Not the place to propose but the ideal place for a great great lunch or dinner! Good food, great service, friendly clientele makes for a value for money experience.
My advice is unless in a group avoid the tables and opt for the barrels or bar to experience all this place has to offer.

“Warm food - a little hot in cost!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Ok food but a little pricey for location and menu/ drinks available.
Great if you play poker - and interested in a quaint irish like pub.
For a family of 4 for an early dinner it was about $120 for an average meal with only one course.
Too HOT for us.

“Awesome!! Love Friar Tucks and it is our first time, we will be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

Cold night, walked in the front door, so warm and cosy...greeted by Sarah, who made us feel at home straight away.
This is our first visit here, having just moved to Mandurah.
We chose cider on tap, which was wonderful.
Irish Craig was our waiter, what a fine, happy professional waiter he is!
Entree was Three for all, $19.00 for two, basically garlic bread, fresh prawns, and these delightful chicken wings, with a lovely salad garnish.......absolutely delicious!.
Mains, hubby had guiness pie, which was large, full of flavour...he could not fault.
I had lamb shank, on champ (potato mash with chives)...that was faultless also, I just loved the flavours of the sauce, together with the flavours of the tender lamb!
All the time, we had attentive service from the charming Irish Craig, checking on drinks, and clearing plates.
We had checked the menu online prior to coming tonight, and had our hearts set upon tiramisu for desert....sadly, that was not available. That was our only letdown for the night.
We had a great night there tonight, and we will be back, THANKYOU!

“Warm & Friendly Decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

I enjoyed this place the moment I stepped in. Outside the ambiance is somewhat lacking, it doesn't look much from the street. Once inside that changes in a big way.
Warm wood is everywhere, pictures and objects abound keeping you eyes and mind busy. Irish (?) music plays with gusto in the middle of the room.
Having driven past many times I want sure if I would need to book. I am glad I did! On a Thursday night the place filled quickly.
The food was very good, the shared entree had garlic bread, prawns and chicken wings. All good but I'd pay good money to just have the chicken wings, they were fantastic.
Turnados of Beef for me for dinner, Ribs for him. Both very nice. Ribs seemed to have the same sauce as the chicken wings earlier (when you are on to a good thing, go with it!).
He was thrilled to find cider on tap.
Skipped dessert as we were full.
Only negative was the wait staff seemed rushed off their feet. They were all friendly enough, just seemed a bit frazzled.
Cost was comparable with every other restaurant around so nothing to complain about there.
We will go back again, the relaxed (for the patrons if not the staff), friendly, homey atmosphere will draw us back.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

Steak was tough not much flavour, mash potato was cold and lumpy, chicken parmy was very small and had a strange taste to it, value for money was not good.
