“high tea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Just went for high tea at artizan with family for easter.
Started with a nice glass of champagne. Followed by platters of cakes, home made mini pies and sausage rolls, little sandwiches, and of course little pots of tea. We were also offered coffee for those who wanted it. There was so much food we couldnt eat it all.
The venue is great with lovely views across the water towards the foreshore. It is also wheelchair friendly
The staff were great, very friendly and attentive.
And all this was for only $20 person
I believe high tea is not available everyday but if you have a group and you ring up to book the may put it on for you, they did for us when we asked.

“Dinner Downer”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

We called to make a booking at the stage door, wasn't told it was no longer Stage Door but Artisan.
When we walked in it was like walking into my mothers retirement village.
The menu was very average, I had an over cooked Salmon with a salad swimming in oil, my husband had a steak chips & salad ok if we were at a pub. Very over priced for this type of food
The Waitress swaned around in white thongs, a real OH&S.
Entertainment was a Lady sing off a Karaoke machine.
All in all a very dissapointing meal, Stage Door was always a buzz.

“Great breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning - it was quite early - as soon as they opened - and we were the only ones the whole time. Luckily the service was good as they had no excuse for it to be otherwise :)

The food was really good - didn't have to wait long and was very tasty. The portions were definitely on the large size as I couldn't finish mine.

Good coffee but the ice coffee was $7.50 even if you just had a no cream or ice cream!

“Nice food and location, but let down by service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We have been here a few times and the food has always been nice and the location and views great, but the service is very average. We dined here recently and two had pasta which was really nice and one gnocchi which was nice but very large gnocchi. There was no dessert menu just a choice of a few rather old looking cakes in the display cabinet which were not appealing at all. We ordered two coffees, but only one arrived. We had to call staff if we wanted anything.

“Good food and service but misleading”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

Great location, good food and service but when it came to pay they would not accept my discount voucher (on Chirp Deals) which is false advertising.
