Pros- close proximity to busselton town and not far out of nearby attractions.
-Spa in studio apartment was good.

Cons- Outdated facilities, lots of children and more a family resort than one for couples.
-poor service at reception, expensive internet access, expensive cafe, maintenance above our room without notice (very noisy).

For a 5 star resort, would not recommend for a romantic stay!

I stayed at the ABR during a business trip for 6 nights.

Overall the stay was very good with professional staff and a clean, well run hotel.

The only negative I have is that noise really travels horizontally through the units. None of the cupboard or wardrobe doors/ drawers had those little rubbers buffers to deaden sound when being closed. Consequently, I was able to track the movements of my neighbours throughout their unit as they went from cupboard to cupboard!

Cheap rubber buffers stuck inside every door and drawer will solve that simply and quickly.

Other than that, very nice stay.

This resort was so lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly. I can recommend it to anyone wanting to stay at the top of the Margaret River in W.A. It is right near a beautiful white beach and the facilities are endless. Give yourself a treat and stay there.

After many great reccommendation we were extremely surprised by the poor service and lack of attention to many mainteance issues. What should be a great holiday destination was spoilt by inattentive & poorly trained staff, which became even more evident when dealing with the management team, who showed a complete disregard to their guest. A minor point on check in was the staff member, who had percising on her face which combined with her general scruffy appeareance and tone, didn't suggest we were staying at what is rated a 4 star hotel. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious, yet tired, stuck in the 80's, which is fine except that is basic mainteance issues had been missed, 2 light bulbs where out and the bedside lamp in the bedroom was broken, the light bulb was broken, with sharp glass. Of note the hot water system was too hot, near to scalding. Our main issue was the swimming pool which was freezing for the duration, we notified the reception desk each day, to be told it was would be fixed, it never was fixed for the 4 days, I suggest it was another ploy to reduce cost. The location is great, what should be an ideal family spot is sadly not, the hotel is tired and in serious need of attention both to it's property and staff.
