“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

What a wonderful find due to a rainy day whilst visiting Busselton. A most amazing collection of well-preserved local history run by wonderful volunteers and only $6 entry.

“Amazing Visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

This is a wonderful museum for anyone who loves local history. The place is a treasure trove, with rooms full of items for music, ships, clothes, children, crockery, groceries, machines and things from the Butter Factory. There are a number of sheds outside, with tractors, group settler replica homes and dairies, a replica school room and more. There are booklets about local history to buy, as well as old collars! The staff are vounteers, and wonderful - very helpful.

“It’s interesting to visit if you are interested in local history”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Busselton Museum, it’s a small local museum, most of the collections come from donations from the region, and it’s run by volunteers. If you are interested in local history, it’s worth a visit, but don’t expect anything like museums in other countries, such as China or Egypt.

“Butter Factory”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

Lots to see at the museum and run entirely by volunteers. Sadly they do not get a lot of funding, the roof leaks and is therefore ruining a few displays. Instead they should be preserved.
