Description: Three Anchors is a trendy sea side bar bistro open 7 days a week from 7am - 10pm. Patrons can sit and enjoy their meal, sourced from local producers, and prepared by a talented group of young fresh chefs, lead by our head chef Amy Hamilton, whilst also enjoying a nice glass of wine from our extensive wine list, created from local and international wine makers. Also in the summer months, we cater for the beach goers, by opening our Kiosk for all your take away food, drinks, icecreams and coffees.

“Over priced poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We have been there for breakfast which was reasonable so we booked in for dinner. Food was ok but twice the price of the same at a pub in Denmark. Waited half an hour for the table to be cleared so we could order coffee and dessert but gave up and went home. Seemed every disorganized or disinterested??

“Great location which could do so much better.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

It's hard to find a better location. Sensational spot right on the beach. Like, 0m! But the food is ho hum pub and the service patchy. The decor a little dated and inflexible. I suggest a pick from the very reasonably priced wine list and watch the waves.

“Not worth your $$”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Had high hopes - was so disappointing. The fish on the menu was battered so we asked if there was a grilled option - waitress suggested the special which was squid. When it came out, it was battered too, and was a terrible attempt at salt & pepper squid. We ordered two beers & they got it wrong- there was all of 10 people in the restaurant? They forgot to offer specials to us & other tables in the first place. They did have a function in the other room and maybe this impacted the service that night....shame because its a beaut location. The food was served on wooden boards but was too small to eat off, had to sit on metal stools - some tables had proper chairs and seems designthey just ran out! It was a great bar and well decorated - I get what they were trying to do with the upmarket pub style - if you've been to 3 Weeds in Rozelle NSW where they really pull this off, this is like when it all goes wrong. You're better off going to the local pub for beers & burgers!

“Thursday Curry Night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

This place does nightly specials and of course we were there on a Thursday night. The curries on offer were a hot Beef or Butter Chicken, I had the latter which was beautifully served with a condiment and poppadums.Price $18.50 or $20 with a middy. The coffee is first rate and the waitstaff are a credit to the establishment.

“Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Such a nice atmosphere to this place, everything was really well priced to with generous servings. I ordered the Duck Ragu and my husband had the Beef Burger, both of which were absolutely delish!
