“True Blue Australians.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

Men and boys who left the shores of Australia and who saw Albany as their last bit of Australian soil, are to be respected for ever ... Lest we Forget! We have the peace we have today because of these devoted people.

“Moving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

It was moving to see all the hilltop memorials in Albany. We arrived just before sunset. It was quite eerie to look out where my grandfather and his mates assembled with their NZ counterparts and left in ship convoys to Gallipoli. So many WA volunteers left their homes too and fought without their horses, so seeing a mounted horse statue brought that footnote in history to the fore.

“Beautiful Dramatic Sculpture depicting the soldiers and horses”

It was a good "hike" up the steps and the views lovely. I must admit I didn't walk further to the lookout.....
