Thank you very much for creating a warm, imaginative and well executed B&B. I would have no hesitation recommending this place as it exceeds expectation. Your welcome was great and your breakfasts superb. Thanks again!

Recently my husband and I, together with my son and daughter-in-law and her parents, who were visiting from overseas, spent three delightful nights at Hideaway Haven.
The whole experience was outstanding. No only were Maggi and Becki welcoming hosts, their establishment was superb. From the moment we entered we felt we were living in a Tree House as we were perched high amongst the tree tops which consequently attracted many beautiful birds. From the balconies, that extended from each room, we enjoyed a panoramic view of Albany's coastline, Albany being one of the most beautiful parts of Australia and very much appreciated by our overseas guests.
The whole ambience of Hideaway Haven is top class with everything being of the highest quality. Meals provided were abundant, varied and delightfully presented and the Jacuzzi under the stars proved a popular outlet for our tired muscles at the end of the day.
This B&B would be very much enjoyed by honeymooners, couples wanting a rest from the stresses of our world, or like us, three couples who enjoy each other's company and who at the end of each day want to get together with a drink in the comfortable lounge to chat or play cards.
Congratulations Maggie and Becki and thanks for developing such a Haven, you should both be very proud.

My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at Hideaway Haven. Where do we begin. On our arrival we were welcomed by two of the loveliest people you will meet – Maggie and Becki, our hosts. They made our first night a memorable one by providing us with a banquet, the Asian Steamboat, highly recommend it, and then it was into the Jacuzzi.

The rooms are beautifully done, the beds are divine and the private balcony’s are so nice to sit and eat breakfast every morning. When we were planning our honeymoon we initially thought we might dine out for breakfast in Albany a couple of the days, but after our breakfast the first day we quickly changed our minds.. they are the best breakfasts, and were the highlight of our stay!

We found that we were perfectly located, only a couple of minutes drive from everything that Albany has to offer and yet when you are there you feel that you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Maggie and Becki have thought of everything you could possibly need and yet somehow still manage to go that little bit further. Thankyou for helping to make our honeymoon such a special time, hope to see you for a ‘babymoon’ someday!
Hideaway Haven is exactly that, a hidden piece of heaven.

Sara and Adam....it was such a privilege to give you a special honeymoon. This is what we dreamed of doing when we opened our HideAway....spending time with special people. Together with Ann & Alan, Nick & Anne having all six of you here didn't feel like work at all. We loved the time you were all here, sharing special times together.

As you drive down the pleasant but unexceptional residential street on the outskirts of Albany your expectations are modest as you approach what appears to be a well kept typical family home - but then you are greeted by your host Maggie and are taken down the wooden steps past the Jacuzzi into the wonderful world that is Hideaway Haven.

We stayed at this oasis for a week during the busy build up to our daughter's wedding and found the tranquillity of the Vista View room the perfect tonic. We had a wonderful view from our private balcony across the treetops and fields to the distant waters of Oyster Harbour. As you sit eating your breakfast in the morning sunshine listening to the birdsong you could be miles from anywhere - you are in fact a 10 minute drive from the centre of Albany - amazing!

Hideaway Haven has an excellent website that describes things perfectly and a regular informative newletter but a special mention has to be made of the breakfasts - gourmet quality with something different but equally delicious each day - the food was as good as anything my wife and I have had anywhere

The attentive hosts Maggie and Becki live above the guests accommodation - never intrusive but always on hand if you need anything. We arrived as weary travellers from the UK but left at the end of our weeks stay feeling as though we had made two new friends

Thanks ladies for a memorable stay - don't change a thing

My husband and I recently stayed at HideAway Haven for 10 days. In a word – “AWESOME”. This Bed & Breakfast establishment is first class and would recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Albany to look no further as this is a “one-off” experience just waiting to be enjoyed. Maggie and Becki are charming hosts and go out of their way to make you welcomed and ensure that your stay wants for nothing (they certainly made by birthday special and I know my husband was extremely grateful to them for organising a number of surprises for me).

Location is superb, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking spectacular countryside but within close proximity (15 minutes by car) to the main shopping area and some truly wonderful beaches; accommodation is first-rate and finished to a high specification (beds very comfortable); breakfasts to die for (a different hot dish for every day of our stay); great guest lounge allowing you to chill out and enjoy everything that HideAway Haven has to offer (even has a laundry area and Jacuzzi, definately not something you will find in all B&B's!).

HideAway Haven will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will certainly return if ever we find ourselves in that part of Australia again.

Alan and Ann it was such a pleasure to have you guys here. From our newsletters to the emails between Alan and us, it felt like you arrived as friends :-). It was such fun working on all your birthday surprises to make your birthday a special one. It certainly was a challenge to come up with 10 different breakfasts each morning of your stay, but one I really enjoyed. Thank you for the beautiful flowers, that was a special thought.
We really hope that you will find yourselves in WA again and head down our way. Already working on some different ideas. How about a breakfast fondue or banana cannelloni?
Take care guys and hope we see you again soon. There is one room you haven't tried yet :-)
Cheers
Maggie

The rooms are extremely well planned and decorated in a soothing way. The beds are large and super comfortable. When we originally booked in, they only had available the room with 2 single beds. We had such a great time, we came back after spending a night elsewhere! Hence we got to try the Queen size bed as well. The Jacuzzi is definately worth trying - for me it was incredibly soothing and helped minimise the pain from rhuematoid arthritis. They don't use the chlorine chemicals, so my skin was not irritated. The breakfast is amazing, everything is going to satisfy the fussiest gourmand.
