We recently ate here with a friend on a quiet Sunday evening.
The menu read very well, with "specials of the day" too.
We had pork belly as well as a mushroom risotto. Both were well cooked. Highlight was the hand cut and twice cooked chips - beautifully crispy outside and fluffy inside. We didn't have room for dessert.
They didn't have the wine we'd chosen in stock, so offered us a slightly more expensive one but charged us the original price - a nice touch that a lot of restaurants don't do.
The service was a tad slow, but as we weren't in a hurry it didn't matter.
We would eat there again.
