“Relaxing family holiday...even for our cute 7 year old puppy :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012 via mobile

Belfast Cove Holiday Park in Port Fairy was the start of our week long break in our caravan.

We were greeted by the friendliest people at reception. I believe they are also the owners of this park - such warm and lovely people.

The park itself is perfectly manicured, and very very well kept. Every where you looked, the grass, hedges and landscape was perfect. You could not fault a thing! It is a nice cosy park that is not very big. We loved it there as it was such a pretty place. So peaceful and relaxing.

Our two year old daughter had the best time as we setup our caravan on lushes, perfectly manicured lawn...lots and lots of perfectly manicured lushes grass, near the play area and jumping pillow.

Just across from the play area was the camp kitchen. It had several BBQ hot plates in the camp kitchen, tables and seating, a big sink for doing the dishes, a nice big tv, and all the other kitchen amenities. Again everything looked so clean and well kept.

I am most fussy and picky when it comes to park toilets and showers. The facilities here weren't brand new but geez it was SOOOOOO CLEAN!!! It looked clean, it smelt clean, IT WAS CLEAN! Every time I needed to use the loo, it always smelled so clean. No complaints what so ever here!

The location of this park was slightly away from the main street, but certainly not inconvenient. We had a car, and driving into town was just a really short drive - less then 5 mins and we were on the main street of Port Fairy. We like not staying right in town. So this suited us.

We did not get a chance to use the pool as our daughter ended up with a fever, but the pool was nice too - new by the looks of it. There was a kids wadding pool which was nice and warm. The adult pool was heated and was a good size - all indoors of course. There were nice huge sliding doors which opened up to the court yard area which was still within the pool fence area.

Such a pretty spot and we'd definitely go back again in the near future.

Very friendly and knowledgeable owners. Very comfy bed, and excellent facilities available in the room. Loads of space for the kids to run around in the park, and overall a very family friendly holiday park. We will be back. We loved Port Fairy, and the Belfast holiday cove

We stayed at this park for a week in January, so peak season. It was reasonably priced compared to other parks in the area. The park is nice and quiet and every site is surrounded by trees for a little bit of privacy, so you are not camping on top of each other. The camp kitchen has 3 bbqs (token operated) and was always clean and easily accessed. The ammenities block is clean and large enough that even at peak capacity it is not hard to get in - my daughter and I didnt have to wait at any stage for a shower. The showers are a little hard to regulate for the littler ones. The indoor pool was a lifesaver during the rainy week as it is heated, and of course the jumping pillow goes down a treat with all the kids. They have a pancake morning for the kids once a week and also had other activities organised which was nice. I presume this is a holiday thing only. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only gripe is probably that they could do with another washing machine and dryer for staff use. In the mornings when they are getting the washing done for the cabins its is impossible to get a wash in and this lag continues throughout the day. Not fun when it is a wet week with kids!

Room Tip: If you have little kids be careful where they are at all times as the road out the front is a main t...
