This restaurant is overpriced. The flavour of the food is terrible - thick sauces, stodgy noodles, handfuls of raw spring onion, fake Asian kitsch bordering on racism ('You ling, we bling".... seriously?!?).... I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant!
Singapore Noodles - should be made of rice vermiceilli, not wheat noodles.
Char Kuay Teow - crunchy reconstituted rice noodles with a thick sweet sauce.
This restaurant is like the "Maggi Noodles" or "Kanton Sauces" version of Chinese food.
Our Chinese friends commented "This is unimaginably bad food - even the worst of Western food beats what we had for lunch".
I seriously doubt that this proprietor has ever actually eaten authentic Chinese, Japanese or Vietnamese food. All I can say is that he has a sweet deal going with fake Asian flavours at outrageous prices.
