After having spent New years day on the beach at Lorne, we decided to grab a quick meal before heading back to Melbourne.
We wanted to get away from the crowds of hungover humanity so headed to the Pier.
Although fairly full, we were offered an outside table which was great for the 6 of us.
Service by Helen was exceptional - manners, efficiency and a smile included.
Wine we ordered was unavailable but substitute Pinot Gris was a find!
Food terrific. Seafood Paella, King George whiting and mushroom risotto were delicious. We had desserts - chocolate mousse and coffee cheesecake both light and full of flavour. Coffee one of the best in Lorne.
Happy to give The Pier the thumbs up for food ,venue and overall hospitality
