Stumbled upon this fatastic restaurant after our seal colony boat trip and booked in for our last night in Philip Island. We certainly had left the best until last.
Previously "the big fat greek" in Rhyl, the move to Cowes was deffinatly a right move and we were warmly welcomed by the host / owner Maria, while Chris her husband is busy in the kitchen preparing the brilliant dishes. The previous entries in the Good Food guide are no surprise, my wife was raving for days about the Mousaka while my Lamb rack was delicious. The pan fried olives were certainly a different starter for us and we certainly we had some room for turkish delight to finish the evening off.
It was great to wash this all down with a bottle of Mythos, my wife can highly reccomend the Champagne cocktail.
We will certaily seek this place out if we visiting the area again, deffinatly worth heading to for some great food which isn't just your usual Australian and Italian fare.
