Hubby ordered their home made meat pie and I ordered the grilled barramundi and it was beautiful. The fish was cooked to perfection and the meat pie was full of flavour. Would definitely go back there again.

Great meals. Not a huge serve but delish. Recommend a meal sitting on the balcony with friends. Very relaxing

Beer made on premises is excellent and the quality of the good country food that was on the menu was good. I would definitely like to recommend this restaurant.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013 via mobile

This place is great. My wife, 3 year old and I ate lunch here and it was the best place we ate in Phillip Island. Good kids menu, honest, fresh pub food - We had the pie and the fish and chips (fresh fish, not greasy - how many places struggle with that concept). And the beer was great too (Pale Ale). Definitely worthwhile going out of your way for.

“The 2 Fat Blokes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Nothing like having a chilled quiet beer with friends in an open, friendly environment after a great day. And that's exactly what we did for, unfortunately only 1 night out of 3. We planned to return on the Sunday night but didn't quite make it. Beer was fantastic and the knowledge of the waiter / owner was too good to be true - an absolute font of knowledge. The food we had was equivalent to upper crust restaurant quality and, given our obvious liking for a good feed, we enjoyed it well. Like all establishments, we encountered a few "unpleasant" patrons but the waiter / owner took it in his stride and dealt with them in a very calm, professional manner. The selection of brews, both local and specially selected imports was great. Would we go back? You bet and we'd take someone new with us. Cheers Rusty Water, job well done.
