After being left to wait for almost an hour to be served I was then confronted with a very bland and overcooked piece of salmon and a side serve of vegetables that reminded me of those 'meat and three vege' days whilst living with my parents. Or you might think of those side serves that often accompany flight meals. Not something you want to pay around thirty dollars for.
When the owner was informed about our disappointing meal, a friend of mine ordered the same dish, he merely stated they have never had any complaints before.
He later returned the money, only to my friend, when we visited the restaurant the next day when she explained how she'd vomited several times in the night following the meal.
Next time I visit Apollo Bay I will be dining at the small fish and chip shop on the main street. Fish was very fresh, perfectly cooked and non greasy, and was a lot cheaper.
