So evocative of everything of the 50s. An amazing environment with indoor and outdoor dining. Burgers and other 50s food most of have forgotten. A great experience and very tasty, ample food for very moderate prices. Also allow time to browse through the 50s memorabilia

“A regular lunch stop on grocery day.”

Great food, Wayne the chef is a real Tassie character. Service is excellent a must stop place for us. It's a real 50's era eatery come to life in this century

“One of the best lunch destinations in Northern Tasmania”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

What a wonderful surprise to walk into the Diner! You're immediately immersed in 50's music and surrounded by 50's paraphernalia. Betty Boop & James Dean give you a 'Welcome' wave, old bowsers create an interesting background, slide-in booths to take your meals, couches & sofas to relax with desserts, outside there's a quaint seating area, enough parking for some muscle cars, oldsmobiles, bikes and whoever else likes to enjoy harking back to the 50's.

We've been there many times, sometimes with a bunch of mates from the motorbike club, sometimes family and friends, it's always great! Any excuse is good enough to arrange a trip to Deloraine's 'Cruizin in the 50's Diner'.

Chilli chicken burger is really good; Nachos and other bits keep the kids happy. Coffees are great, spiders & ice cream .... what more recommendations do you need? Uh, yes, the meals are good sized and very well priced.

We'll keep on coming as often as we can, and recommend it to all of our mates and their families.
