“Weren't interested”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

We had planned to have lunch here and chose a seat only to find that they had employed a handyman to do some drilling work above our heads - at lunch time!! He was attempting to screw into the wall and finding the going a bit tough so every few seconds there would be an almighty screech as the Phillips head drill bit would lose purchase on the head of the screw and grind away. This was incessant but the owners blithely ignored both the sound and the inconvenience to their customers who numbered 4 ( I wonder why?) No apology for the noise or any concern expressed. Shortly 4 customers became 2 as we made other lunch plans.

“Wonderful Lunch Stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

We had one of their magnificent wood fired pizzas for lunch and it was divine. Great coffee and really friendly staff followed up by good prompt service.

“Breakfast”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

Had breakfast here on the second morning. There was only two other tables and us in the cafe but it took nearly an hour and a half to get our breakfast. Breakfast was good though. Decided to have dinner there that night and give them the benefit of the doubt with their service but that again was a bad mistake. Again the food was good but the service was lacking. We were seated and the waiter said I will be back to take your order. Several other people came in and were seated and served and water left on the table for them. Now we were in the doorway and you couldn't miss us at all. After 20 minutes I managed to get the attention of the waiter to get some water and a drink. Finally got to place my order. The pizza was really good. I did explain to the waiter that I was there before the other 2 tables and they managed to get there dinner before we did. I guess they fast tracked my order. Food good service not so.

“the only place that stays open late enough in Bicheno”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

If you like to eat a little later in the evening its best to find a place in Bicheno [after high summer at least] that is actually open past about 7.00pm. Luckily Pasini's was open a little later than the other places. the pizza I had was really good and wasn't your typical garden variety pizza. it seems they have know what tastes good and make it accordingly.good choice of beers and wines and tasty treats like chocolates in big glass lolly were all available

Service from the young German waitress was excellent and friendly and the room has a nice cosy vibe to it even on a cold gloomy night
