“Possibly the best bakery out there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

My waist line will show you that I am quite the bakery connoisseur and The Little Red Grape is as good as they get. Beautiful range of fresh breads, very tasty range of hot pies and pasties and the desserts.... well shall we say my future cardiologist should thank them for how amazing their Beesting is!
The adjoining cellar door is very cool and convenient with so many smaller wineries represented there. The homewares store is quaint with a lovely choice of gift ideas which a husband always appreciates (as did my wife when she received her pearl bracelet for her birthday).
We go back here again and again in preference to other local eateries, not to say they are bad but this is the best.

“Wine tasting & coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Tasted & bought some wine, great spot in Clare with good assortment of wines from wineries that don't have their own cellar door. Went back later for a beautiful cup of Coffee & Cheesecake in the Cafe. Would go back again.

“Best Bakery in Clare”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

I just love this place. It is the best bakery in the Clare Valley! I particluarly love teh vegetarian turkish rolls and I'm not a vegetarian. We always bring home a Beesting to eat later!

“Great promotion for local wines and industry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

We had a terrific time at The Little Red Grape and our host Carol was fantastic, guiding us in our selection, informing us about the region, what to see and do, it was really a one stop shop. We were even able to make a much more informed decision about where to lunch and were supported in that process. Terrific promotion base for the region and all the businesses there.

“Walkabout 2012 Little Red Grape nice surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Clare Valley is one of those wonderful places that you just can’t get enough of.

As my brother an I drove, the discussion was mostly about where to go, as the great choices in Clare Valley are endless but the time wasn’t. First order of business was something to eat and so the first bakery they came across as we came into the area was at Sevenhill called The Little Red Grape. As we were stuffing the fresh Pasty’s with sauce down their gobs we noticed that on the other side of the building was a cellar door also called The LittleRed Grape. Well we were already there so why not.

As we entered The Little Red Grape tasting room we were welcomed by Kaylah. This young lady managed to keep us on task and informed of the wines being tasted amongst all the verbal brotherly love being dished out in a continuous flow (did not intend for Kaylah to be the one blushing). All the wines tasted were good and a couple bottles were purchased.

The Little Red Grape is a lovely place to taste a bunch of wines from various small wine producers from the Clare area that don’t have their own cellar door. It’s a great stop to get a taste of a some food that can’t be had just anywhere like a meat pie, pasty, sausage roll, Kransky or a slew of other yummy treats. There is also a homewares section to the facility.

A nice place to cover a couple (at least) of bases and start off a weekend in the Claire Valley.

Happy tasting,

Cheers,

Kiwi & Koala
