“Trinity Beach Tavern well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2012

We left Trinity Beach tavern until our last night of holidays - our mistake! After reading some lukewarm reviews, it wasn't high on our "must-do" list. However, after walking past many times (& having had admired how inviting the balcony looked), we decided to check it out. We hadn't booked - another mistake - and missed out on a balcony table as they were all full. We sat further inside, which was perfectly fine, although a balcony table would have been lovely. The tavern was well fitted out inside, neat, tidy, modern. The staff were all friendly & efficient. There were plenty of tempting meals on the menu to choose from. We settled on a chicken & prawn dish (can't recall the name), fish & chips & an Asian tasting plate. All meals were tasty, well presented & enjoyable. However, we all agreed that the Asian tasting plate was the standout - great value & absolutely delicious! If only we hadn't left it until our last night...

“Great and good price food”

For an english traveller in Australia right now, things are expensive, this tavern had cheap beer and good healthy portions - thumbs up from us!

“Stick to a steak and don't expect too much”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

We have always had to dull down our expectations when eating here with our 2 young children. No free kids meals can detract from the less than average food standard on offer. Greg and team try hard but service is hard to keep consistent when staff turnover as they do. a few computer games might keep older chider amused but our 2 and 4 year old are not that impressed.

“very dissapointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2011

we were very happy with the srvice from the staff, i had a cocktail with was made very quick and very tasty. we had chicken parmagiana which was quite expensive for a tavern (we figure that was because of the fantastic location). We were very disapointed with the parmagiana, it was room temperature/almost cold and seemed like it had been made in a microwave.

“Favourite place to eat in Trinity Beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2011

We always eat here when visiting Trinity Beach. Its wonderful with children, as they have games and colouring in etc for the kids while you are waiting for your meals. Such a lovely atmosphere, magical views of the ocean and beach. Wonderful meals at a reasonable price!
