Stayed for 3 nights while traveling on sunshine coast. Got a deal with online code for $90 a night. Well worth it as excellent swimming pool and roof top spa. Right on sea front and good base for steve irwin zoo. would recommend

Have stayed at the Landmark twice now. The location is great-just over the road from the beach, opposite the surf club. The room is adequate if a little compact. We had great views across to the river and mountains in the distance. Staff were efficient and helpful. The rooms are not cleaned during short stays-Im pretty sure it says this on their website so this was no problem for us. According to a note on the bed they have recently acquired new bedding-really comfy!! Our only complaint was that the air conditioning did not cool the room very much. It was only 27degrees when we were there and I struggled during the night-not sure how I would have gone in the height of summer. There is a small gym and small pool-we tended to use the beach rather than the pool! The waterfall spa is great-one of my favourites!

We stayed in the penthouse with private rooftop spa and ended basically living on the rooftop the entire weekend! The jacuzzi can be heated up to 40'C so during winter nights it was superb! From the rooftop you have over 180' views of the ocean and hillsides. There was a small LCD television in the room and for once it actually came with the free movie channel! The sofa bed was great and loved the little kitchenette and dishdrawer however I think the sofa bed may need to be updated to something a little newer and comfier, but other than that we were very happy. We are repeat guests and will stay again. Oh yes, and the gym is small but feels much bigger and very wide range of equipment and complimentary water.

My 11yr old son and I stayed for 6 nights at this resort. We had the best view of the ocean from the 5th floor. The staff could not do enough for us, even keeping a boogy board for my son to use at the patrolled beach daily, (he felt really special and became confident speaking to adults as the staff made this small gesture). The beach, cafes and restaurants could not be any closer and the staff at all the places we tried were very helpful and friendly. I was a bit apprehensive about being a woman and small child walking outside going to eat after dark, but the place was so well lit up. Even the beach had regular police and security patrols, and I always felt extremely safe. The Day Spa attached to the resort was very professional with very good prices and beautiful products. I did hear the garbage truck one morning, but would have heard it at home anyway! No big deal. My son really enjoyed the waterfall pool, while I relaxed reading a book. I was also grateful to have a washing machine and dryer in the room, so we could kick back and relax watching pay TV while doing this boring chore, instead of having to sit in a public laundry bored. The foyer holds masses of pamphlets on what to do around the area and the bus drivers that picked us up for the tours were fantastic and informative, this company is not part of Landmark Resort.
I would like to say a great big thank you to all the staff who helped make our trip awesome and I will definately be going back for a stay.

We found the position of the Landmark perfect for restaurants, shopping and beachwalks. The Landmark has a boutique feel about it with personalised serviced compared to some of the other generic branded apartment establishments. The icing on the cake are the beautiful views from the beachside apartments. A perfect place to stay for families or couples looking for a high quality good value holiday or weekend away.

The room was compact but had everything you need for your holiday including a washing machine and a drier to satisfy my wife. The sun hit the pool in the afternoon, the gym was good and well-equipped. Hot bath on the rooftop next to the barbies. Ideal location for visiting the local bars, shops and restaurants.

We went to this resort for our honeymoon and expected a reasonable resort based on its 4 1/2 star rating but there is no way that this resort comes close to that! From the time we walked into the resort and was asked for my drivers licence to confirm who I was (I have NEVER had that happen to me before) and the address did not match (we had recently moved), I felt as though I was being interrogated!

The room that they initially gave us smelt and there was no way we could stay in it. What a disappointment. After changing rooms, we found the new room to be very small with, for example, limited space to put things in the bathroom. Certainly nowhere near the standard of 4 1/2 star resorts that we have stayed at before.

We were there for 6 days and the toilet leaked for 5 of those days. On the 3rd attempt to get it fixed it, it was finally resolved. We also had problems with the WiFi in the resort during the stay and, although it was managed by a 3rd party company, they seemed to be unable to get the resort to reboot the router, as they were requesting them to do. We consequently had to find another hot spot to use our laptop.

Oh, by the way did I mention the garbage trucks early in the morning & the renovations that they were making in the resort whilst we were there? Surely the inconvenience of the renovations would have suggested to the resort that they should have reduced their tariff during them?

All in all, this was a very unpleasant stay & certainly took the shine off our honeymoon. I would not recommend it at all.
